SHORT AND NOT SO SWEET

OH-MY-GOD! Thank you SO much for commenting on my comment on your poem that I commented on and you commented back on your poem that I commented on and I'm getting somewhat confused at this point. You have no IDEA how much I am honored and will forever be in your debt and how can I ever repay you (You take personal checks?)
But if it's not too much to ask (and I realize that your time is valuable) could you PLEASE possibly: COMMENT ON ONE OF MY FREEKIN POEMS??? I don't care if you like my poetry or not...I took the time to read through YOUR poem carefully, make sure I understood it and then tried to offer some kind of coherent comment on said poem that I commented on that you didn't comment on my poem and here I go again one mo time
Also, if all you have to say in return is 'nice', 'enjoyed', etc. PU-LEEZE don't bother

Louise Holley Date: 4/17/2014 5:17:00 PM Tim I comment on Poems that I can relate to. I believe in sincerity. I am not good at wording myself as you can probably tell. I have social phobia and so I never know what to write on comments only to tell them how good it is and to make them feel valued. You tend to get views and comments Others get completely ignored and some of those poems are pure gems. I have never given to receive I wasn't raised that way. If I don't get comments or views because I don't give back then so be it.That wont stop me from commenting even if all I say is nice or this is good some people need to be valued heard and noticed I read peoples current work because that is their frame of mind now. Have only been here since February and seen the amount of comments I receive go down - hey ho won't stop me writing - in fact am collaborating and working more with incredible poets so we get two bites of the cherry as the poems are posted twice. The poetry soup is not as awesome as it was before 2013. Everything has gone sour. Now, it's all about groups, like it or not. I can't believe everyone is worried, about how poets comment one another. What is it to he or she, how we decide to offer support, to the new poets, or contest winners. Your 500 character comment, does not mean you read and fully understood the poem. Your praises and rant, aren't better than a smile some left behind. Sorry I have no time for kissing ass. "Constructive criticism" -Them days are over, and charred, all due to the ones who act as if they are better than the rest of us. I can't even call it envy anymore. It's the rude way of seeing thing. I've been discouraged for over a year. All I have time for, is my true poetry friends, and my contest. Every now and then I will find a day, and return comments to he or she who continue to offer support. Another thing, I'm not gonna give in to all the one's who hate seeing us leave a copy paste when welcoming the new poets. $h!ttt-ersss, if it wasn't for us, more than 3 dozen new poets, would not even receive a welcome hand to the soup. I have done it once in a while, but I think most people are going to be more interested in seeing winners of contests in which they too have won. It's only human! Also, it's easier for me to see winners of short form poetry contests, whether I won or not. I just love flying through cute little poems. Where the judges are very selective, like Charlotte, for example, I really enjoy seeing the longer poems. Saw some of superb quality in and other judges' also doing more free verse type contests here.
