INTRODUCING A NEW POET

Hi Everybody -
It is my great privilege and honor to introduce a new poet to you. She just joined today and her name is FAYE GIBSON

She was a high school classmate and sat next to me in Senior English and I gotta admit that I (blush) had a MAJOR crush on her but never asked her for a date because she already had a boyfriend. I regretted that decision for many years to come...
We have recently gotten back in touch via Facebook and have a common bond because we have both lost sons at a far too early age. You will notice that most (if not all) are about her late son...

PLEASE look up her poems and welcome her to Poetry Soup...I would like to see this blog have that little flame beside the title...

Thank you, Tim. So glad to be writing again. I am looking forward to getting to know this community of writers. Some of these first poems are about my son....some originated in another "life." Thank you, all, for making me welcome.

Faye is a born again Christain as am I but she is the real thing...I am a SEVERE 'backslider' but she remains true to her faith and most of her poems will have religious themes... To Team Poetry Soup: PLEASE allow this comment...It is a simple statememt of fact AND allow her to post her poems of faith...
