Oldest of five brothers, I was the one who got away with everything. Spent thirty years as a Navy Reservist. People say I'm a little crazy. Thank God, normal people lead mundane lives. My greatest love is kids and I spend weekends working with abused kids with psychiatric problems almost always created by adult animals. I like music, mostly country and early rock. Married for forty years (my wife will be given the Medal of Honor) and have four kids, a 36 and 35 year old and two 23 year olds. The twins are a boy and girl. Including me, my wife has five. Got 5 grand kids. I'm big on amusement parks and would work for Mickey and Donald any day. I've seen a lot of the world (14 countries) and definitely miss the travelling with the Navy. I'm a firm believer in the power of prayer. I love this planet, so I'm going to stay awhile. I do believe war could be a necessity only in defense of your country and not as an excuse to prospect for oil. I believe that if there is any honesty or integrity in Washington, the guy is in the wrong city. People I most admire include Jimmy Carter, JFK and Billly Graham. I'm pro-life and anti- political correctness. I think the problem with political jokes is that most of them get elected.

Prayers Again Please !!!

It seems as if the little time I have on the site anymore is to ask for favors and I apologize but I believe prayer is the most powerful cure for anything on earth. This has been the most horrible year of my 64 years. My son Jason was almost killed in an accident in July. His anger has just been tremendous and now his son, my grandson, has been charged with murder in California. He will be sent there and incarcerated without bail until his trial. My job loss is a minor inconvenience compared to the tragedies that have hit my family since Novemeber of 2009. So, again, I ask for your prayers to The One you worship. There are so many cultures on this site. I'm sure the prayers we received in July spared my son's life. Now I ask for prayers for my entire family to see us through this latest tragedy. My grandson is only 21 and faces 25 years to life if convicted. I pray for justice tempered with mercy. No matter what your faith, please pray for us. Thank you for all you've done in the past. I am certain it played a big role in the good things that have happpened. God Bless all of you.

I hope that your grandson is innocent but if not I hope that the circumstances around the act that he has been charged with is more like an accident or something that he did not mean to do..I can imagine the pain that you and your family are going through..The father of this child must be in total anguish..I have prayed about this situation already..I will pray again..I appreciate you visiting my blog and the continuance of your prayers and your pray groups prayers for my family..When people try to live right and get their perspective right sometimes the devil sends in all his forces to try to destroy that person and those around them..That is one of the worse things in the world that satan does but of course not the worse..Sara

Vince it would seem you have faced many continuous challenges. The first thing that occurs to me is your strong Faith. There are other's I'm sure, without judgement, who would be angry and say "why me".I feel we are never given more than we can bear but nevertheless your strength is an inspiration to many.As for your grandson,Our Father knows his heart and His Love supercedes that of Himself God the judge. He is there with you all.I pray you trust to His will as I'm sure you have done many times before. My heart goes out to your son in his anger and to your grandson in what must be a very fearful time for him.Remember the strength that you have it will hold you up and help all those around you.You have my admiration. Sending my love.June(Sylvia)

Prayer can move the mountains And cast them in the sea In your weakest moments It's power can set you free It can drive away the loneliness That we all can face each day Nothing we ask's impossible If we just take time to pray Prayer can mend a heartache When someone dear has died Or heal a mother's weeping soul For all the tears she's cried It's peace is never ending This power we have in prayer For the Father gives us His Promise That He will meet us there There truly Power in Prayer my friend...God Bless...Larry

Dear Vince. I have been praying for your son ever since your first request. I have been wondering how he was doing but didn't want to take him off until I heard. I am glad he is doing better physically but now will pray that these burdens be lifted. I am so sorry. Love, Joyce

You surely didn't need more bad news, Vince. What a trying you you've had and now this. Of course, your grandson and son will be in my prayers. The wheels of justice drag slowly and I know this latest development has your family on needles and pins. God, please grant Vince's family some extra blessings this holiday season and through the coming year. Don't hesitate to reach out to us at times like this. I wish there were something more I could do to help ease your struggles now. Love, Carolyn
