I have just returned from two weeks in Florida and was sad to learn that Jack has decided to leave soup. He was 83 recently and advancing years brings its share of problems. I wish Jack best wishes and thank him for his friendship

He hasnt been too well but hopefully meds will sort it out. He'll pop in if he can he said.

It is so sad to know that he has left poetrysoup, I don't know many here but Jack is one of my favorites, his funny poems are always nice to read and they always bring smile to my face, he sure is a really wise guy, I really like his thoughts, but yeah many things change with age, 83 is alot,

I can't see him hanging up his pen for good Tom, I know he's said several times in the past he's leaving soup but he just took a break and bounced back:-) hugs Jan xx

Hopefully this is only a temporary hiatus. He was well liked and will miss his circle of friends in the PS community.
