I just went from the eye of Irma coming straight at me to missing me

by 30 miles, in a matter of 1 hour I went from the wall of the eye to

being on the west side of it.For those of you that don't know that

was the difference from losing my house to wind damage and more

importantly storm surge since I live very close to the beach at only

a 10-foot elevation....Whew! got lucky with this one..to all my PS

Florida poets, hope you had the same luck, with this very scary storm

Irma couldn't make her mind up which way she wanted to go, but at least she had everyone's attention and that helps to minimize loss of lives as well as damages. So glad you stayed safe, Frederic.

Thank God Frederic. I have said so many prayers for people in Florida. This was a scary storm. It is great to hear you are ok. :)

This is such good news to hear, Frederic! This is one I'm sure you will never forget!! Let's hope we will hear from our other Soup friends, and until then we will continue to pray that they were all spared from Irma's fury! Whew.....indeed !!
