Another day in Flordia, another hurricane to ride out

At least when the electricity is out there is paper and a pen

I'm so glad you are safe Frederic, I've been watching sky news and seeing the aftermath of the hurricane, so many lives devastated - we are at the mercy of mother nature. hugs Jan xx

Thank you to all who had a concern, things worked out but for those north of me many prayers...Craig I'm a mile and one half from the bay...still waiting on any storm surge

Stay safe, hope you're away from the coast - guess it's going more north but still making a mess. Our winter home is in Spring Hill at Timber Pines - looks like it'll dodge another direct hit, but we'll see - good luck Frederic!

thank you Susan, dear friend, dear poet, and yes we were spared the brunt of the storm, but still had a lot of rain with tropical force winds, they'll be dying down as the day goes on

Sorry you have to endure that. It must be stressful. Our beloved Carolyn who lived in Florida would always tell me her worries during hurricane times.

My friend, I hope you ride it out and are safe and sound after it passes. No hurricanes here, just destructive tornado's. A few years ago I had one take a hard abrupt right turn about 400 yards from my house and destroy several houses there. God bless you.

we will dear poet...we will... unfortunately the worse of the storm is going to hit in the middle of the night with an extremely high tide
