'Free For All' Contest Judged

Whenever I throw a contest wide open like this it always produces a really interesting, eclectic mix of poems. I received some wonderful entries, and it was very difficult to judge them because they were all so diverse, but I finally managed to whittle them down to sixteen winners. I'm not singling anyone out for favouritism, but on the list there is a poem called 'My Poetry Friends' and I think it is the perfect note on which to end my contests, and if you read it you'll see why. I know that there is an air of sadness around today with the news of Freddie's passing, and I think this particular poem is also very fitting as we remember him.

Congratulations to my sixteen winners and thank you to everybody who has participated in this contest, and indeed to those who have participated in my other contests, too. I read all your lovely messages on my previous blog and was truly touched by your heart warming words; they mean a lot.

Hi Charlotte ^_^! Oh wow!!! you have no idea how surprised and humbled I am with my placement, thank you very much! It is truly such an honor to be among your winners-- I couldn't pass up not entering your last contest and I am so happy I did. Thank you again and congrats as well to all of your winners!
