My original interest was in writing short stories, usually about life as I knew it and life as I know it. There was (is) the every day adventures we sometimes observe or are a part of. My youngest Sister Sue A'hern who is a published poet in the UK, pointed me in the direction of poetry some 3 years ago. My poems are usually prose or Free verse, this gives me the license to make mistakes and not use too much rhyming words.
Of late, my memories are of my childhod and early teenage years. These memories are turned into poems, i hope. Reading the poems of others on this site also prompts me and my sometimes too active imagination.
