Returning to places I once knew, are they the same? Here are my thoughts and actions of my visit. The form of my ramblings (poetry) are once again free verse. My inner voices certainly had a field day, too much advice.

Inner voices sound disturbed Behave yourself sent via thoughts Sleep has deserted me, so confused Time to visit long ago scenes Find my friends of time gone by I find myself on the pathway of ocean views Crashing waves and sea gull calls greet me No one around to view my crazy antics Facing the ocean, arms open wide, calling out names A voice I knew well, echoed, from where? My name was being called, tried to dismiss Inner voices giving advice, my name once more Too much to bear for my weary soul I fall to my knees arms still open wide Hope that no one views this scene Tears form as memories flow by I shudder as warm arms enfold me from behind A perfume I recognised from years gone by Where have you been my friend my lover? Tears now flow as I realise this is not a dream I stand and turn, those eyes, lost in their depth I am lost for words as I stare The warmth of a hug, a kiss on my lips I heard through the grapevine you had returned The voice of an angel that always soothed my anger within Tears and laughter at this encounter Lovers once more as the hugs continued So much to tell, I babbled on Her smile, as she listened to travel stories We walked the cliff top path back to our village Our favourite café, coffee is calling Sitting chatting, holding hands My inner voices does not understand Laughter and applause, what is going on? Our friends had gathered, the word had spread This gang of old have a day of stories ahead Inner voice gives advice I understand Eyes that allow us to investigate another’s soul Hold this girl and never ever let her go.
