leave me to the lingering
leave you to the stringing me along
there goes my vacancy of interest,
i’m caving for you.
there goes my weightless breath
it’s collapsing my throat now
throughout my thoughts of you.
since you’ve taken leave
i’ve found it convenient to withdraw
from my tendencies to chase you,
so i’m holding back.
my fingers still symbolize yours when
my heat arises and when i get alone
because i can’t exist in darkness
without your face behind my eyes.

I know The Idiot did not pass.
Yet, I’d tell ears you have to,
Whether to it or not prone to…
Hundred percent sure you need it,
No need digging collective pit:
Your school from head to toe Private;
Rather few of your staff Graduate
Among them A Clark Porter,
Who is eyeing my young daughter
Some while walking on Doughnuts snack,
For mischief-making quite a knack;
One I saw bubble gum chew,
On her blouse stains from a rushed stew…
My patronage likely to cease;
And Donated School Bus seize.
Engage or withdraw, it’s our choice
Make tender our embrace
Let fragrance of love be our voice
Echoing divine grace
Heart our sacred temple
Let each touch be gentle
Making complex simple

Quietus
Life's circumstantces can overwhelm,
make me forget who I am or where I stand.
At these times, quiet calls me as shelter,
its silence a compelling, healing nectar,
and I disappear from even all I favor.
In a life rush of too much, I often withdraw
from all possible joys as well as quarrels.
As I absorb, I am a raw edged jigsaw,
seclusion pledged until comes my thaw,
for I am lost in the limp task of absorbing
and I am a mute mind and heart exploring.
I never love anyone less than my total
and radiate my love to all like a shiny opal
though I am immobile and non-verbal.
Some pains are too heavy for me to cart
so, I lose my personable shine
and my ability to interact declines.
But I love, yes, I love, my family and friends -
I love them all, with all my love, with no love end.
Cherry chase charms
Fancy frees farm
Wise ways work well
True treasures tell
Sync sacred stay
Pique pretty play
Glimpse grand grounds
Seek splendour's sounds
Live lovely light
Forge fragrant flight
Be beyond blind
Move mystic mind
Ply precious peace
Enchant end ease
Wise worth withdraw
Fire frozen flaw
Dance deeply dear

Just a broken poet,
at an ATM
His stomach cries out,
words hunger within
The nights are the longest,
cold darkens and chills
Fresh words on account,
new credit instills
Pushing buttons while bent,
… with hope standing tall
An answer comes back,

To conquer you should at both ends the candle burn
By leaps and bounds seek long to sojourn
In the arena of knowledge imbibe from every stream
Lend an ear to your flaws,don't be so swift to overesteem
You would later eventually society confront
Malefactor throngs from all edges affront
The road of success is not of any thorns devoid
Pursue unpretentious learning and haughtiness avoid
Don't your teachers attempt to clone
Make a carbon copy of them or their image atone
We cheatingly have treasured our own strains and weakness
Superbly camouflaged them and denied our faultiness
If despite all,you sense you the plateau reached
Bowing out would quell our gusto to teach.
No matter how slow we begin to move,
But if the pace is paced, in the right direction,
Sooner or later we are due, to be rewarded
With what we wanted - our destination.
Our destination, may be, far, far away,
Inch by inch, bit by bit, but we move.
Must not withdraw without being afraid,
All the obstacles, surely, will nature remove.
In the course of our struggle we might be alone,
We may lose hope if we lose aiming at the goal.
Moving and marching, aiming and advancing,
Will make up our mind and strengthen our soul.
Out in the world, tales tell us, those who sleep
They neither reach anywhere, nor get anything.
And those who keep on moving, though tortoise,
Always win the race and victorious songs sing.
We must not afraid, of fortune or fate,
Keeping in our mind, it favoures the brave.
"Despair is dangerous", must be our motto,
Success goes to them, who keep on and crave.
I don't plan to
Know
Love
Lord
Keep your liquor and your meth cigarettes;
stow away your needles and white powder.
My mind craves stimulation without sweats
caused by vices others choose for regrets.
Give me words, inky scrawl across a page,
the fluid cadence of a verbal dance
freeing the psyche from an iron cage
imprisoned by a mundane daily trance.
Prohibit fresh diction to discover
the foul temper that lies within my breast.
Prevent access to verse and uncover
an exhausted maudlin beast is expressed.
I get my fix within a library.
It’s cheap to be hooked onto poetry.
I believe in You Lord
That you would never withdraw what you gave
No matter how bad I am
No matter what I did or did not do
You would never take back and leave me helpless
Stranded, forsaken
I place my confidence in You Lord
Please don’t
It’s not that I will try to be bad God
It’s just that I know I am not perfect
And I will someday, sometimes fail you
It’s just a sure thing Lord
And I don’t want you to revoke your benefits, your favors
Okay Lord?
I have faith in You
