On a warm, dew-weakened day,
Watching the grey void of a lost
Sense, anxious moments recline
On whiffs of ancestral propitiations
When rafters regain possession of
Filched roast fish, balanced with
The fumes of a wild dance heckled
By chokes of a chagrined weekend.
Who rises faster than smokes of a
Low tar, ascending
Gently,
Whimsically,
Lazily,
With rings of white life
Extinguished through banalities,
Through clamoured waste? . . .
Such rise — gay, sensuous rise
Of the thin beam,
Goes with every thread of meaning
Long since posted on the banner of
Meaningful dreams.

' The Jungle Untamed calls me to exhibit its wonder and splendor to
mesmerise.'
-Poet
Jungle untamed accommodates flora -fauna
at random on broad spectrum, whimsically.
Feral fruits, flowers and wild grasses
grow free frolic, rustic yet fantastic
in jungle on rainy or sunny environ,
flourishing versatility of Nature.
Creepers and climbers tangled stout stems and boughs
coiling tight, being part of the tall trees.
Marvellous presentation of thorny bushes,
cluster of shrubs and soft thick tapestry of moss.
Ferocious animals with furious face fight
with one another as normal part of life.
Weak herbivores live at mercy of carnivores.
Survival of fittest is basic Nature’s Law.
In jungle untamed , primates started to build
dwelling places as caves, log house, trying
renovating to huts with continued effort
using brain power and tenacity.
Jungle untamed is the prime birth place of
normal progress for human civilisation.

Memento on the moon, our existence based on what we cannot see.
Subjective logic we measure by mere senses within our body
A penny lay I law on moon’s largest crater saying, ‘In God We Trust’
Nay a picture of God found on this coin, rather a man once worshipped
Proving our everlasting toil of higher power on earth versus universe
Never fully finding the rubric of justice but trusting a flawed process
Living breathing proof of our détente of existentialism wresting fate
Fighting chaos, embracing a land of laws to control the new
Both beautiful and horrid contradictions whimsically stuck in a dance
Desire to progress but strangled with fear we marched on
Seeking knowledge while carrying the boat anchor of tradition
We made it just far enough to learn how small we actually grew

I want to be fuchsia free of
Indigo inhibition
Not so much that I silver sin
But that I am emerald easygoing
I want to walk whimsically
Like purple peacocks along
My destined path and lavender laugh
To have hazel happiness
I want to be such a sandy soul
That others sink into my peace
And ruby receive blueberry blessings
Of love light and purest energy
I want to grow such a halo
Around my heart that God
Is pleased and He anoints me
In my wildest dreams I’d be the best me

Her soft pink petals are invitingly fresh and bright
Next to many others displayed in colors that delight
She sits and patiently awaits on greenhouse shelves
And prays she is soon chosen, as her heart swells
She smiles as the morning sunlight warms the air
As her earthy scent wafts and attracts with flair
Her magenta blooms are lightly covered in mist
Her petals stir, welcoming the moist dew kiss
She hopes the sweet geranium lady will soon be here
Then soon hears her voice as she's getting near
Her petals whimsically gleam as her growing stems invite
As she sits attentively waiting, feeling proud and sprite
She feels her pot lifted from the crowded greenhouse floor
Delighted she was chosen and excited for what's instore
Her feet are now planted at her new home in a beautiful pot
Displayed amongst her blooming friends in a bright cool spot
She smiles as the morning breeze tickles her new blooms
And her sweet lady admires her beauty and fresh perfumes
She vows to zealously grow, with her petals blooming strong
In hopes her blooms deliver delightful gifts all summer long

autumn leaves float freely
in a kaleidoscope of colors
passionate purples
and crimson reds
blend whimsically with
burnt orange and
her sister sunshine yellow
highlighting old barns
near open waters
that accidentally catch
a fallen leaf or two
Bob Ross paints
it in a half hour show,
but mother nature
takes her time
the world is her canvas
as she simply changes seasons

adverbs dress up ordinary verbs
easily, quickly, confidently,
jokingly, suspiciously, cagily,
demurely, purely, delicately,
deliberately, justifiably, undeniably,
jubilantly, whimsically flippantly
they may be my favorite parts of speech

Tidal connection,
wild flowers woo a Clownfish;
Anemone bond,
give in give up a little;
Flourish and flow together.
Seeds of ambrosia,
birds fight over leftovers;
Mammals with munchies
pass around shareable plates;
It’s never polite to gorge.
Dancing Bryony
playing both sides of the coin,
grant don’t play my wish;
Trusted you with a secret,
don’t drown my faith in poison.
Peak of abundance,
blushed pizazz peppers the air;
Cherry Blossom blooms,
so whimsically festive;
Big shot missed their own party.
Calia purple,
always makes an impression;
Moths flock to its flame;
Hot swells of a royal shade,
such enticing perfection.
Honeyed Ambretta,
the taste of a Summer fling;
Perennial blast,
enjoyed but over too soon;
Sweet seasonal time share.

Jasper uses the words absurd and whimsy as if they are synonyms
They are not the same to me, I say to him.
Silliness, craziness and idiocy is not whimsy.
Whimsy is imagination, playing, having fun, laughing, loving.
Jasper begins to whisper about me.
I have dog ears, and I do not like what he says.
So, I whimsically bite him.

There once was a sickly blue jay named blue
He was struggling with the dreaded bird flu
He loved to dance and sing
And a crowd it would bring
Until he " achoo-ed", his fans then flew
There once was a picky beaver named Bob
Always searching to find the perfect log
Chewed many trees as he could,
Toppled piles of rotted wood
Until the huge wood pile dried up his bog
Fred adopted a new cat to kill mice
And thought new cat mouser Sam would suffice
When the first mouse appeared
He saw Sam run off scared
Then he knew why Sam was so cheaply priced
Leroy was a young owl who could not hoot
Luckily he was talented and cute
But at nighttime his new song
Sounded whimsically wrong
When he resorted to playing a flute

Sometimes you cruise through life
with blinders on
Completely unawares of those damned
slippery bananas
At every turn and corner they lurk
like a lion on the savanna
and you, in this scenario; a gazelle
Hopping and skipping along
Sipping your Starbucks,
playing among us on your phone
And that not so benevolent banana
Sees right through you
It whimsically pierces your deepest depths
Every secret in your heart
It knows..
IT KNOWS.
And just when you least expect it
You'll find yourself staring up at the sky
Wondering what could have possibly
upturned your life so
The truth is
That banana had your ticket punched
Since at least that time you did
that one thing you never speak about
You're kind of lucky it took this long
Honestly.
So remember, all your deeds; good and bad
Are carefully scrutinized by
your local supermarket banana section
They have means, and departments
for this kind of thing
So mind your manners, and try to avoid
Encounters with those oh so benevolent creatures
that we so nonchalantly like to call
The banana.

If we search through the pages of history,
Can a chapter be found that's complete?
Or has the story omitted some highlights,
Where another book contains the deceit?
Apparently, direction seems to guide this
Compass, to a past where some portions are lost.
Leaving us only to the winds of days prior,
Filled with warm breezes and chilling frost.
While this quest is universal in scope,
The individual often wonders to its place.
Such that the mind has little recollection,
Of where it went, leaving some in disgrace.
The boundaries in these efforts are limited,
Since it is rarely seen that tomorrow is to waste.
So we tend to focus our gaze in a rear-view mirror,
Where blind spots lack clarity and taste.
Beyond the current foundations, our knowledge
And insight often return like a boomerang.
Yet we still visit these far-away places in the cosmos,
Until we smack into that wall of causality,
Whimsically labeled, 'The Big Bang'.
