An angel sent to visit us on Earth,
The realm of bliss to this of grinding woe;
What must she think to dwell in love's sad dearth?
But angels need not think, for all they know.

Will Visits the Zoo

William and I went to visit the zoo.
A big sprawling zoo exceedingly grand
We saw lions and tigers, some red kangaroo,
Cute mini monkeys from a far distant land,
And an ostrich who hid his head in the sand.

Past the wild horses on flat open ground
A wide green pasture beneath the blue skies
The wonders of wonders was there

Spirit Visits

At first spirit visits during your evening dreams
If you are receptive, they may come during the day.
They show up as glimpses, blips, swirls, birds and butterflies.
In photos, they come across as streaks, orbs, and smears.
These celestial visitors are here for one reason.
To show us that love exists beyond the veil.

Nostalgia Visits

Nostalgia comes
bringing clear scenes
that create smiles.

Visits from Heaven

                 Was it really you dad? Not merely just a dream,

                           Your wisdom

Visits From the Fey

furiously frolicking fey do not visit everyone
some empaths hear their giggles
others sense their lively antics
few humans see them

the ones I know bring a fragrance with them
I am clairsentient
aware more than others
clairaudient too; I hear their giggles

I cannot fathom life without them
some of the nonbelievers would not believe me
but they are here, in the forms of

No Visits No Clue

They sit in their office with no clue,
About what to do,
About those who are blue,
When they should be putting on more than one shoe,
And going down the stairs two by two,
To see what is happening from a street point of view,
Before making decisions that will turn more people blue.

Heavenly Orb Visits Forest

she brought light to the forest
it arrived in pops of turquoise, pinks and oranges
excited oaks, elms, and firs glowed with excitement
she was the ultimate orb, sent from heaven,
to give hope to those who had been sacrificed and buried here
their souls leapt with joy when she arrived

Visits Have Their Hours

You can’t visit during working hours
And along take exposed sweets and flowers!
Why do we meet plain virulent showers
On persons who’d hurt the working hours?

Heads would at rule-breaking callers glower,
Red anger permit to reach its tower.
Lover of cake you can’t calm with flour;
He might not leave you long in his bower.

Why Santa Rarely Visits Mauritania

Mauritania is a country to which I don't often go
    'cos my name is Santa ~ Ho, ho, ho!

  90% of its territory is in the Sahara Desert
    to survive the heat, I'd have to remove my shirt

The Bard Visits 2023

Awakening with heart and mind a-spin,
methought midst some psychotic malady.
"What hellish afterlife am I now in"?
