The witches you couldn't burn

So many innocent women were slaughtered in the name of Witchcraft.
It's just such a crazy concept, I don't know whether to cry or laugh.
They'd get burned at the stake for any indifference,
I mean how stupid must people be, for having such ignorance?

Questioned for having an opinion, a voice or even, just a black cat?
Come on, really? how silly is that?
If I had lived in those times, I would have been one of the first to go.
My love of crystals, skulls, A deck of Tarot.
My love for the weird unknowns, anything occult,
But because of this, Death would be the result.

You'd be ostracized, just for speaking out of turn.
So many innocent women died back then. Such a concern.
A way to control women, You see it was a ploy,
A strong woman in that society was dangerous, they must be destroyed.

They'd victimise women to the point of no return,
But we are the descendants of the witches they just couldn't burn.

To Be

To be what your are meant to be in life, the beginning of the night, ablodged by light, to endoul dge by sight, the vision of you to be you. The instation of frustration, to be lost in translation, to victimise yourself, for no preparation for bad health, to eliviate wealth, to appreciate health. For only to be in life is the need of good deeds, only in mind to be free to be you, for the things you do to consiplate the truth.
As a youth to you learn what to do and not, for only to get shot back to reality, the resistance at an instance change of paste, to live for tommorow and live for today.A unbelievable reasonable doubt to make, only inside to lose faith to procrastinate the indentification and purpose of self relations to live deep inside of inspiration to the inner core of love the shadow above for you to love you and yourself. The alligations of the being in you can be compromise by seeing the truth for complications of mental abuse, only pain for use, to lure a cure of a table contentes of false pretenses to invent you, to be you.

Why oh why do I have to learn
Of poets compelled to leave here – it causes me great concern
There are people who mock us,
Then there are the poets here who block us
I can ignore them - they don’t cause me alarm
But there is a different type of person, they can cause great harm

Hiding behind their keyboard, wearing a veiled disguise
There are those who stalk, victimise and terrorise
They need teaching a lesson and kicking hard right in their flies!

I know it’s not just the ladies who suffer this type of abuse
Guys can get hooked in and trapped like in a noose

These childish idiots need to go home and play with their dolls
Please contact soup admin to get rid of these pathetic trolls

Please, please, please don’t leave our group
We need you here posting your poems on Poetry Soup

And Here I Stand, Both Corrected and a Fool

And here I stand, both corrected and a fool
Yet here I stand, both forgiving and willing
To afford another try.
Pity me, but do not pity me
I hate to be pitied
But my stupidity leaves you with no choice
But to pity me
I am with shame for two times is one too many
Given the crime, one time is far too many
You are, but lucky that you found such a forgiving soul
To victimise
A braver heart would not have stood here, both corrected and a fool.

Gangs are here
And their here to stay
Going about their day to day
Harassing me
Harassing you
Infidels in our Human Zoo

Triads, Yakuza
The Wild West
Terrorised townsfolk
With their gangland zest

Mafia, Nizari
Guys like Al Capone
Persecuted the innocents
Never leaving them alone

Identification through various ways
Communication
Street says
Tattoos, piercings
Dressed sense too
The Gangs of our Human Zoo

Members are many
In certain cities
Victimise the weak
Pick on the pity

These are kids
Of mums and dads
What makes them
Turn out so bad

Brothers, sisters
No questions asked
Shot and knifed
A Gangland task

It makes them no better
Than you or me
We are the difference
A different sanity
