I ask you where is the love

Its my time to Soar
On eagles wings and fly
Above the sapphire sky
This Midwinter time of year
My crown is full of coloured dazzling~ sparkles
Glowing for all to see
Such joy I feel inside of me
I carry the love for my soup friends
Deep in this Scottish heart of mine
Not just at Midwinters time
Every day of every month ,year
I just love being here to share
My time for destiny is now
For such a time as this
I write from depth of heart ~ soul
Showing love, joy, kindness to all
A kind being stands out.
We recognize the warm intent.
Friendship always a matter of the heart.

Strands of DNA do what our life does
Coil in pairs, bonding with available others
To define one’s self,
As above, so below
As within, so without,
And so it goes, our lives spiraling onward
And outward
A path beyond our control
A path filled with chance meetings
In a world where nothing is really left to chance
A path of change if nothing else
Spiraling ‘round our changeless nature
And all for what?
The chance to simply be
In the doing
The chance to love and know others
And so get glimpses of ourselves
In joy and sorrow
Sharing it all as it goes
Round and round
This mortal coil has a beginning and end
But surely Life goes on
Within us and without us
Leaving its mark
So easily recalled
With the smile upon their face

I have a great friend,
she tells the truth and will never bend.
We love going out,
shopping and eating makes for a magical day.
I help her then she helps me,
that is the way friendship should be.
She called me sister,
what an honor that was.
Then one very sad day,
I had an epiphany.
She was filled with lies,
I had been deceived.

“the toys just jumped out of the toybox”
“Billy did it!”
“Billy wasn’t here and toys can’t jump!”
I was too young to request counsel.
Billy had an iron clad alibi.
He had been in “time out”
When the alleged offense was committed.
I was sentenced to “Time Out”
20 Minutes, no bail
No TV and a cold supper.
My fate never changed
As whenever that…that question
Was asked…I muttered….
“Billy did it”
And yes….Billy had an alibi
And I looked guilty….
I tried blaming the dog once
Until it was proven
The dog had an alibi
He couldn’t pee that high up on the tree trunk
I should’a named that dog …..

Trick Questions
Our heads are round
so our thoughts can
change direction- but
that sometimes means
going around and around
in never ending circles
we can start again any time
Distance and time permitting
unless we punch a hole in these
distant walls that are separating us
I truly want to see her again and again
I really do remember her and regret
ever saying that I don't
