In the market of choices, we're faced with a test,
Between health and affordability, which one to invest?
Fresh fruits and greens, a pricey delight,
While processed snacks and sweets, shine with cheaper light.
The junk food aisles, a treasure to behold,
Cheap and tempting treats, that our taste buds are told.
But at what cost, dear health, do we indulge and play,
Trading wellness for pennies, in a harmful, tasty way?
The irony of economics, that governs our plate,
Where healthy choices are costly, and junk food is first-rate.
But let's not be fooled, by the price tag's disguise,
For good health is worth every penny, and a wise, lifelong surprise.
So let's invest in our well-being, and make a conscious choice,
To prioritize our health, and rejoice in a wholesome voice.
For though it may seem pricey, the cost of healthy living is true,
A valuable investment, in a life that's vibrant, and anew.

Black opal is the rarest and most valuable opal for distinctive vibrant
“play-of-color”, as the dark body tone of the stone enhances the
beautiful and brilliant colors of blues, greens, yellows, oranges and
fiery reds. It is an exceptional opal that can rival or surpass diamonds.
Blue paraiba tourmaline is rare and valued for unique, electric color,
renowned for vivid, vibrant neon blue green to turquoise hues.
It is the most rarest of tourmalines for incandescent glow that
appears to light up the stone and is sought by gem collectors.

she ordered a car paint job
wanted a subtle pink with metallic
painter showed her a paint chip
it was so light she could not see pink
take it outside, you can see it there, he said
it was a gorgeous color
it would cost four thousand dollars
worth it for a beauty like this!
She said “Let’s do it.”
Later when her husband and she drove up
There was the most garish, gaudy, ugly bright fuchsia convertible
That better not be your car, he said
It was
Nothing like the color she had asked for.

This thing called the internet is a valuable tool,
for a higher, greater education equal or greater to,
any of the worldwide most prestigious schools.
Sadly, most seem to use the internet only for entertainment value.

"Poetry is a life-cherishing force. For poems are not words, after all, but fires for the cold, ropes let down to the lost, something as necessary as bread in the pockets of the hungry."
— Mary Oliver
Poetry is a life-cherishing force
It simply flows out
And when a poet's life has run its course
His poems, they shout
Poems are not words, but fires for the cold
They never grow stale
Going through them gives an energy bold
Like soul-stirring gale
Poems are like ropes let down to the lost
Hope for the broken
They don't have boundaries, or any cost
But are thoughts spoken
A basic need like bread to the hungry
Poems feed the mind
Pleasure or pain penned down for the sundry
Play of words entwined
When feelings float down with a feather touch
We call them poems
They're refreshing reads and vital as such
Valuable gems

For Sotto poet's "Poetry is a life-cherishing force" contest
Try some day to buy
A valuable for your guy
To arrest his joyless doubts
And explode his joyful shouts;
To on your account feel “High”
And his mind rid of “Why?”
The damned depressed capital ‘WHY’
Depressed men ask in beds they lie
A forbidden fruit valuable it can be
Of some forbidden valuable tree…
Your final ‘Yes’ to his wished Cherokee
Of a price the sting of bee!
we only live once.
it's yours to cherish and spoil.
Soak in the splendor.
each flow trice is a healer.
who knows when it'll all be done?

Fathering a baby after surrendered hopes,
Alive remaining after wearing the ropes,
The Surviving Staff of a job- relieving Shuffle,
A beggar winning a million dollar raffle.
A chance to live again from a charity medication,
A missing valuable finding in a busy location,
A free ride t a far- off town,
Whose trekking would we invited a frown.
Free bottles of one’s choice drinks
At a time of aggressive thirst but no chinks,
Fortune smiling at one in a neighborhood
One Next-door had yet to oblige one brotherhood,
Goodies at one ceaselessly rushing,
After dumping a job and about thrashing.
Grace-driven luck makes a somebody,
Of a written-off nobody.
I love bridges,
I seek crossings...
I love people who are,
overpass...
May they teach us to cross
paths and detours... !
