Humanity
The gravity of inertia,
Jealous force,
Weighs down the heart
Paralyzed in fools' gold -
Grounded in resistant exhaustion
With flightless wings.
The weight of pressure
On dreams
Discourages footsteps
From optimism –
Ambitions petrified,
Abandoned in the grip
Of paralytic obsession,
Vacillates in stares
At the blank canvass of comatose,
Numb with indifference
To change.
Hope flees
Unable to step right or left,
North or south,
Up or down,
Chained in detachment
By relentless conflict,
With universal ambivalence.
Yet,
Bound by these stoic bonds
The soul still dreams,
Reaches to dazed stars
Pointing north,
Waiting release by the humanity
Of the Prime Mover
In perpetual motion.

(it's like )
The sweet and scented waft of a delicate flower waltzing in thin air or like
Helium balloons at the fair. Often we equate it to cotton candy, or
Electricity. Why is it that we
Abandon ourselves to another, giving it all away like the tabloids ask of us. As
Renegades of loneliness we precipitate towards that rich garden enmeshed
Only with our senses. Lost in a cornucopia of glossy hearts and wet kisses.
Move over Devotion, move over Sacrifice, let us float on fumes of flattery
Ah but wait, what above true Love? what does is feel like? Perhaps its like
Oaring down the river with four paddles going the same direction (smile)
Frankly, its like gliding towards the greatest scent on earth when it is real.
Love is always patient and kind, and it makes heroes out of all of us.
Oath it with every fiber of your being, its essence is like
Velvet to the touch, as vital as the air we breathe, it vacillates and it is
Eternal. It takes us to the highest heaven then lights every star for us.
(that is what love does)

The quick sands of fate cave in
The sucking darkness captures
The weed of agony marsh slithers
Entangled hope of escape smothered
Hazard paves the pathway of life
For the destiny to wander unseen.
Uncalculated footsteps waver
The poise vacillates uncontrolled
The trap of time in the mire waits
For the weary traveller to arrive
Walking in the shadow of destiny
On the unknown pathway of life.
The survival contest then begins
In the arena of the trying times
Struggling hard to reach salvation
Tread on the pathway of life
Until the call comes to join
The ordained farewell party.
Destiny is not an excuse
The walk is one’s own walk
The pathway lighted or dark
The lamp maker within decides
Amble on garden path or marshy trail
The inner voice dictates.
The light of consciousness guides the being
In the journey of realization
To the blissful destination of divine sanctity
At the end of the pathway of life.

DESIRES
My dormant desire hidden inert indolent
wobbles, vacillates.
remaining repressed in rue.
not surpassing hesitance.
My drowsy desire tending to slip, sleep and sink
idly in abyss,
as being knocked and oppressed
not to overcome hindrance.
My dreamy desire floating flying flowing frolic,
rolling in rapture.
but not to reach fulfillment
suppressed by circumstances.
Yet all long life to drink dulcet desires
dreaming and dreaming
on endless continuation
till dream flashes in reality.

anxiety
a rocking chair
that vacillates
and goes nowhere
it’s not just you
it’s more than that
for it creates
a nervous cat
so cast your cares
and hit the couch
‘cuz broken tails
make cat a grouch

Disappointment comes in shades of blue and gray
Delivered with a large dose of dashing hope,
My mind vacillates between sadness and dismay.
‘Tis time to put on a happy face for a better day
Fighting the strong urge to sit around and mope,
Disappointment comes in shades of blue and gray.
For me, disappointment is a perfect way to decay,
It is always important to find a solution, to cope
My mind vacillates between sadness and dismay.
It helps finding something amusing to enjoy, to play
Or, engaging in an activity that enlarges my scope,
Disappointment comes in shades of blue and gray.
Even then, on the edges of my mind, I cannot allay
Feelings that, somehow, I’m at the end of my rope,
My mind vacillates between sadness and dismay.
When disappointment strikes, I wish I could be gay
I suppose the censors will allow me this apt trope,
Disappointment comes in shades of blue and gray
My mind vacillates between sadness and dismay.

Swoosh, she vacillates in malleable form
as ocean waves or garden hose splashes,
encapsulating life's nautical swarm
and keeping plants fresh with misty dashes.
In a cup, her shape is held gently in place,
until she quenches somebody's thirst.
Intimately, their insides she will trace,
where her cleansing powers become dispersed.
In a pool she permeates the shape of fun
as a backstroke and flutter kick silhouette.
Like diving board jumps, droplets reach for the sun,
impulsive in action, yet always wet.
From skyline heights, she arrives with a rush
as the carving force within ravines.
Sojourning between walls like an artist's brush,
she transforms herself as well as her scenes.

The student vacillates,
Succumb to study
Or go to the dance?
With a mind flip of the coin
And help from a higher power,
He is on his way.
Outside the dance
On that clear, cool Spring evening,
His glance settles on the girl,
An illuminated masterpiece of nature,
With joy, beauty, symmetry, vitality.
His excitement is of a child
on Christmas morning.
Witnessing God’s best,
creates an inner explosion,
a new awareness of life.
The moment is frozen forever.
Will she notice his presence?
In silence, there is hope.
But what if it had been raining?

OUR LOVE
Silver Moon in charcoal night
Dreamy heart to dance delight.
I move on your move.
So clear, not to prove.
You are my wonderful world
that shines, glows as emerald.
Blood in flood drinks desire
Fast heart beats shiver severe.
Emotion craves clinging in arms.
Passion oozes in your charms.
My ardent ardor to dither
flows, flees, vacillates in ether.
Deep love sinks and dips
gets sealed on pressed lips.
Moon winks, stars smile above.
Zephyr too enjoys our love.
Scarlet rose I will offer
Come close, if you prefer.
I breathe on your breath
and will, till my death.

V vaunts verbiage vociferously.
Visage viewed very vacuous
Vacillates varyingly,
Venting valentine versus violence
Vast, versatile, variant,
Vehement vituperations volunteered:
Voices voice virtuously
Voices voice vulgarly
V very veracious,
Versal vortices visualized,
Versal volages visualized,
V’s valedictory.

Walk and talk affection
In conducive tones
That fertilise attention
To concerns affecting real folks and their comfort zones
Where each critical move you make
Adds to their happiness in tough times
As for them you bake a friendship cake
To improve climes
In which they operate
Daily
As support and back up you generate
Weekly and monthly
When they feel low
As life circumstances conspire
To deal them a huge blow
That deflates their confidence tyre to retire
Their self confidence
Which sometimes oscillates
In a distorted cadence at a glance
That vacillates
Between positive and negative
Vibes
Sometimes exclusive and punitive
When scribes
Predict their imminent downfall
As life’s clock chimes
To call
For the removal of mimes
Folks can’t lip read
Without expertise
In decoding the love creed
Whose consultation fees
Folks can’t afford
Cos no price is high enough
To convert the discord encountered into a promising accord
Between the meek and the tough
Until a Reggae ambassador intervenes
To iron out pesky issues
By using Reggae means
So no affected party in a court of law the other sues.

Why's the "Left" at times viewed as a meddlesome brigand,
And, "Golden Rule" seem such a stretch for our race?
Is it "Right" to hate most the folks (you haven't met yet),
Why's "Fear" such big deal in a world "Blessed by" Grace?
Why do some hate the thought ALL deserve a flat playfield?
Or quail when a friend fares much better than you?
Can't we celebrate smart folks who float all boats higher,
And let go of jealousies clouding our view?
Can a human who vacillates say they've found answer?
Ripe fruit in maturity sways in the wind.
And can you save yourself (with soul dying of cancer)?
Unless you endorse my dreams, you're no one's friend.

Go ahead and celebrate the harvest season
You drove the machines, you cut the grain
Plan a banquet, you don't need any reason
You plowed and sowed, even when in pain
You drove the machines, you cut the grain
Sun sizzled brightly to heat ocean's weather
You plowed and sowed, even when in pain
Sun, wind, and rain worked well together
Sun sizzled brightly to heat ocean's weather
Moist air rose high to form clouds in the sky
Sun, wind, and rain worked well together
Winds brought rain when fields were dry
Moist air rose high to form clouds in the sky
Seedlings grew rapidly in the misty sunshine
Winds brought rain when fields were dry
Farmland vacillates with its yields so divine
Seedlings grew rapidly in the misty sunshine
Amid the evening wind that eagerly blows
Farmland vacillates with its yields so divine
As steady rain from the skies willingly flows
Amid the evening wind that eagerly blows
Plan a banquet, you don't need any reason
As steady rain from the skies willingly flows
Go ahead and celebrate the harvest season

The edge of reason
Teetering on the sharp edge of reason
pressure mounts as calamity hits hard
lightning strikes the mind in any season
reality transforms splitting apart
It's a quick descent into delusion
truth ricochets inside the minds chasm
forevermore mired in confusion
as synapses short circuit in spasm
Reason vacillates between love and hate
foolishness tortures this once brilliant mind
memories languish in this altered state
sanity vanishes into space and time
Hope dies quickly caring for the insane
but love soldiers on, as memories remain.

Sun never sets,
moon nor rises at night;
It's the wonder planet earth,
In exhilaration vacillates,
roves around the universe;
Hides day heating sun,
Show's way to
skittish girlish moon;
Slowly-slowly,
She appears in dark;
Stage by stage,
when she shows up,
In full face from her veil;
In cool embellishing touch,
Earth ecstatically glows;
No day, no night,
No light, no shade,
If we don’t have earth;
Don't desolate entity of globe,
We need sun and moon,
Need day and night both;
Need earth to survive for us;
