Perfume of tremendous worth,
Emptied from an airtight jar,
Left a sweet fragrance in the air,
As roses on a spring morn.
Promptly brought a harsh rebuke,
Labeled as a wasteful sin.
Others had an insightful view,
It’s too precious to contain.
Basic goods must always flow,
Not withheld with selfish greed,
By the “haves” from the “have not” poor
We must respond to their need.
If they are hungry, feed them,
If thirsty, provide them drink,
If in need of dress, then clothe them.
Be a good neighbor, love them.
Blessings in an airtight jar,
Won’t grace those in poverty.
The Lord’s way is better by far,
Share blessings unselfishly.

"Your Big Special Day!"
(written by Michelle L. LeBlanc 01/10/2025)
Dedicated to Greg LeMoine for his 57th Birthday
This day is Your Big Special Day!
So this day needs to be about you!
For you give so much to so many people
Even when it's not so easy to do
You give of your time unselfishly
Giving to so many who are in need
You leave such a good example
People are inspired by your lead
And even when things aren't easy
You often don't speak a word
But silently trust in your heart
Keeping your focus undeterred
You chose a path of giving
Though you could go a different way
You created such a lovely space
Where people feel safe to stay
And in case you didn't realize
We want you to truly know
We all appreciate you so much
As you inspire people to grow
Lastly, today on your Birthday
Make sure you never forget
There are people here who care
So you can't get rid of us yet!

I have used quotes from Rumi. Also, quotes from the Bible which Jesus said. Some loosely translated.
Listen with tolerance, compassion and love
Let your message be joy and love filled
Say less, listen, mull it over, let your heart speak
Pray more unselfishly, do what you can to be uplifting
Truth brings satisfaction or soul change
Any untruth disturbs the heart and soul to its depth
"Jesus answered, "I am the way, the truth, and the
life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
I believe this to be the real truth.
"If we believe, there isn't judgement."
"For God so loved the world, He gave__His Son."
"The Light came into the world, but people loved darkness."
This one truth is so easy
Just believe, ask the Son to come in.

I'll kiss a whisper in your ear,
Something just for you to hear
A word or two, or three, or four
Okay, just three, I want more
I'll wait until the day may come
When you and I can be as one
We'll celebrate, the wait was long
Together then we'll make sweet song
With tenderness, unselfishly
Two synced heartbeats rhythmically
Caressing chord with melody
In perfect tune and harmony

Lies deeply in thy self conscious thought
that one's thinking could control the souls
matter allowing one's self to be opened
purely for the purpose of being here thus not
being judged the excitement for another being
to yearn the pleasure of your passion to be
absorbed in a place that can't fit your soul
and mine so crowd thinking crowded beliefs
infiltrates the soul with out touching how
than do we destroy the living environment of
one's self how than do we leave lessons
learned and at the same time be defeated by
the envy to know some one else's soul
herein the way we love the way we live shall
capture a none existing soul of terror a soul
so blatenly covered in desire and pain
all of who we are comes before the knowledge
of Moses if we allow one of us to have the
word and freely so unselfishly speak it

I know that
I broke your heart
You felt a useless
Women in the earth
Because I was careless
I know that you
Loved me unselfishly
I proudly owned you,
Your feeling selfishly
But there was no point
To block my phone number
Your heart from the craving desire
That your memory will freshly remember
There was no point to ignore
That we belong to each other
The right couple, pretty image
Formed when we are together

There's a day that we share
That's dedicated to the care
Of the lady who is there
Every minute of the year
Providing love unselfishly
Kept safe and securely
Wrapped up warm and tightly
In arms that won't set you free
Until you can fly on your own
Even when your fully grown
You will never be alone
She will be the steady stone
You lean on when times are tough
There will never be enough
Love for you when it's too rough
Her heart will provide the stuff
Helping you to manage through
All the darkness over you
There is nothing she won't do
Always being the strong glue
That keeps you together
Any pain or any weather
She'll always be there forever
Nothing can destroy or sever
The bond she has with a child
Who sometimes get kinda wild
All the memories she keeps filed
From the crazy to the mild
You can come from her tummy
Or adopted into a family
If you feel love you'll see
Someone who is your mommy.

Endowed with life are we- like flowers of
God's earth. We see His flowers in the field;
the God that fashioned them created us.
From seed to bud to ripened fruit we feel
the cycle shared together in the Plan
of His Creation, perfect and sublime.
Endowed with life are we- like creatures of
God's earth. We see His creatures of the wild;
we can relate to them, their inborn ways,
evolve as they in nature's outlined scheme-
of life and death, survival in between,
reflecting the sure balance of His Plan.
The flowers, animals- and us, are one,
constructed by His wisdom and His love.
But we, with innate souls, for certain are
more blessed and bonded to His plan. For He
has given us the gifts of Faith- with Hope,
and Love, to share unselfishly with all.
Special are we- as images of God!

Inquiring of my grandparents to explain love,
Teasing grandpa said, "Togetherness alone pays."
I asked him, what's kept you together all these years?
"Tethers do not work, the secret is frequent hugs."
In short, what do you credit your long marriage to?
"Tough love means you don't always say what you're thinking."
Interesting, Grandpa, how you shoot from the hip.
The ball's in your court now; Granny, you have your say.
"Imagine love's like ball games, you win and you lose.
Teamwork means that each player has a job to do.
It's never about winning every single game;
There's those times when you win by losing, so it seems.
Indeed, God says, love others as you love yourself.
To place your partner in front of you is true love."
In retrospect, both my grandparents made their point;
They agree: love puts others first unselfishly.

Do you know why we celebrate Memorial Day,
Or are you just glad to have the day off work or school?
Do you think of the soldiers that have passed away
To give you the freedom to drink a beer and play pool?
Memorial Day is a day to remember,
A day set aside to think of our country’s past.
It’s a day for us to think about the soldiers
That have given their lives so that our freedom will last.
There are so many wars in which our country has fought.
In which millions of lives have been tragically lost.
They believed in a freedom that so many have sought.
Let’s not forget that your every-day life comes at a cost.
We need to remind our children that freedom isn’t free.
They need to know that their lives are protected by others.
Remembering those that have died is how it should be.
After all, in a way, they’re all our sisters and brothers.
So, this year look at your life in a different way.
Take a moment to think of all the fallen heroes.
Visit a soldier’s grave on this Memorial Day
And thank them for the life that they unselfishly chose.

Your trial comes not from God
please be not confused James 1:13
Because at present Gods will incomplete
don't be by Satan subdued
God will in his own timeline act
in a way beneficial to all
We have the opportunity to show God
our love unselfishly answering his call
Not bought with reward as was said of Job and extended to all as they groan
You and I give our answer
When our love without profit is shown
We have opportunity to answer the taunt
We would serve God for what we may gain
Whether wealth or abundant health for loved ones and self Or lives lived free from pain
Soon the time will arrive to shut down
that devil for good
And won't you be proud when the day arrives
to know on the right side you stood
All good gifts comes from the Father, the Father
Of celestial light
Know that he sees you and cares for you dearly
and love him with all of your might.
He has clearly shown you he loves you
he has given his very best
Please don't doubt to help you succeed
he will gladly supply the rest

Though I may struggle day to day
With those who strive to live
I too must learn a better way
To teach my heart to give
To live my life beyond myself
With love and empathy
To push my cares beyond the shelf
Of what is good for me
I know the path of greater light
Is learning how to care
To understand the folks who might
Be living with despair
To recognize my brotherhood
Is shared with one and all
To contribute the way I should
By lifting those who fall
The journey of the heart may be
A long and winding road
But when you give unselfishly
You drop a heavy load
The difference in the way you care
And how you follow through
Is measured by the greatness
Of the heart that beats in you.

If
There is anything worth
Dying for, my friend, it is
LOVE:
Love for our God
Love for our country
Love for our family
Love for our friends
Love for our fellow Man
Love for love's sake,
Because
There is nothing nobler,
Nothing more dignified
Nothing more elevated
Nothing more holly
Nothing more sacred
Nothing more divine than love,
For love
Is God's voice
Is God's will
Is God's wisdom
Is God's determination to
Unify the Cosmos and Man alike
And
By doing so to make both of them
whole!
Therefore
Let us love my friend:
Let us love unselfishly
Let us love unconditionally
Let us love altruistically
Let us love compassionately
Let us love benevolently
For
That is the only way
The anxiety of Man for human affairs
Forever
Would disappear and peace and harmony
Shall be established on our planet and in
Our souls!
