My Truths

I have used quotes from Rumi. Also, quotes from the Bible which Jesus said. Some loosely translated.

Listen with tolerance, compassion and love
Let your message be joy and love filled
Say less, listen, mull it over, let your heart speak
Pray more unselfishly, do what you can to be uplifting
Truth brings satisfaction or soul change
Any untruth disturbs the heart and soul to its depth
"Jesus answered, "I am the way, the truth, and the
life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
I believe this to be the real truth.
"If we believe, there isn't judgement."
"For God so loved the world, He gave__His Son."
"The Light came into the world, but people loved darkness."
This one truth is so easy
Just believe, ask the Son to come in.

Beautiful truths leading us to salvation. Jesus said. -" l am the way, the truth and the life." Yes, those who follow him do not walk in darkness. Lies make us uneasy. Beautifully said. Congratulations dear Sara on your win.

"My Truths" is a wonderful write/picture. Love your line, "Just believe, ask the Son to come in." "Good Luck" Looks like we both did this one. Be blessed as you write away..............

Dear sara; this is a poem that flows with such great wisdom, and words that are much needed everyday, to remind ourselves, especially the opening lines really did resonate and lift me up as i read “ Say less, listen, mull it over, let your heart speak Pray more unselfishly, do what you can to be uplifting” how true; and your poem flows just seamlessly! I absolutely loved reading this! If this is for the contest, best wishes, sending you light always. Hope you are doing well there

Sara, I appreciate you taking the time to tell me why some of my pics or all of them disappear with time. So frustrating!

Kim, yes, it can be especially if it happens right away. It seems that things that have a copywrite would be fixed where they can't be copied, and some are so that a person would know immediately that they can't use them. Thanks for the visit. Sara K

Dear Sara, A wonderful read this morning. I loved how you wrote of the importance of compassionate listening, speaking with love, and focusing on prayer and uplifting actions. Yes, faith is so simplistic. Autumn Blessings, My Dear Friend, Daniel

You found a wonderful pic to accompany your poem. I used to use pixabay but they all disappear. I don’t know why!

Kim, due to copyright laws, some pictures disappear after a certain length of time. I don't know why it lets a person copy it but then removes it, but it does. So many of my older ones that I have pictures on, the pictures have gone away. It would be nice if I could manage to put some of my own pictures with my poems, but I can't do that. I am not computer savvy. I just type into my search engine what I would like to have a picture of and then start looking until I find one that I think is appropriate. Thanks for dropping by. Sara K

Ahhh, such a beautiful and deeply thought-provoking piece this is, dear Sara.. you've crafted a very heartfelt take for the contest, which speaks of wisdom and moral virtues to the core! "Truth brings satisfaction or soul change" Incredibly true! I believe, bitter truths are better than those malicious lies which keep us in a sense of false happiness for a short period of time. Wonderfully done with creative inspiration from the quotes as well ~ sending love & best wishes to you always!

Thank you, Hiya. We have to be careful with truth though because sometimes it is better to say a little white lie than really hurt someone's delicate state of well-being. I appreciate the kind review, and the time spent here. Sara K
