She, who had seemed my sun some bygone time,
feels now much icier than even far
forsaken pluto’s sunless hemisphere.
Please! reckless Universe! enable rhyme
to unriddle unreason’s paradigm!
—The frozen side of the sun!—What bizarre
world bears such contradiction? Bringing near
fire and frost? both deform eachother’s frame!
And so: she never was my flame—nor now
my glacial winter—.No, she simply was
a human hurting, a someone hurting
me.—a cornered creature caught converting
an inward chatter(,adisconcertingbuzz,)
whichever way her body would allow.

After winter comes summer
After rain, sunshine
Life's complexities are entangled
In an unending race
Laced with sorrows, bereavements
From the fields of sharpville
And the ruins of Biafra
To the burnt, harrased oil wells in Kuwait
Every day is a puzzle, hurdle
Which we, made in the creator's image,
Must unriddle
Our shame does not lie in failing
But in not trying
Our strength lies in our continued hope
That the crowing of cock at dawn
Holds a brighter future
For our generation and generations after!

Anxiety in my chest
Bearing myself for heartbreak,
Calm?
Desperate?
Everything seems wrong,
Fiction, my life is a lie.
Gone,
Here,
I'm not really here.
Just stop,
Know the truth.
Let me forget,
My mind needs to forget,
Nothing at all, yet everything.
Open your eyes,
Please do it for me.
Quit lying to yourself,
Remember happiness,
Stay with me.
Try to listen,
Unriddle my heart,
Vintage records, my heart will skip.
Win me over,
X marks the spot,
You left me waiting,
Wishing you and me were we.
