My uninvited guest

What if one day the death comes knocking at my door uninvited,
What if it's my last day to see my loved smiling,
What will happen to the list of places I wrote, where I wanted to explore,
What will happen to my bucket list , the long drive midnight,

What will happen to my dreams , the hard work I've been doing,
To my favourite type of dress or the jewelry I wanted to purchase,
The love I've longed for, the light laughter , soft hugs and kisses I've been dreaming off,
The white gown on my weeding night and a gaze never leaving mine,

But I would still like to know where I'd be buried or the flowers i would receive,
How many would mourn and cry or how many would laugh at my sight,
How many curse and how many wouldn't come,
Isn't it a funny thought , my love?
I do want to see myself age, thick white strands and wrinkled hands ,
But I would still like to see if I'd smile or cry when the uninvited guest would arrive.

Uninvited death slowly entered during her illness
Engulfing her old, frail body
Slowly and higher came the stillness
Which at any time can affect anybody

Night's embrace grows colder with each breath,
While the clouds drift on a somber quest,
Even time pauses at the doorstep of death,
Holding her moments in an eternal rest.

I knew I had died when the moon got still
I could see an old body upon the gurney
Couldn’t tell it was mine, realization seemed unreal
Just then I knew I’d be on a long journey

Death had come slowly, over weeks of illness
That had gripped the old, frail body
Slowly and higher came the stillness
Which can affect anybody

In an instant angelic beings appeared
Bearing the saved soul away
Wrapped in their arms with great cheer
Willing to see my Savor that day

Now the moon whispers secrets to the fading stars,
As shadows dance across the silent floor,
A tree weeps its leaves like dying memoirs,
Its branches sighing evermore.

Seussome Story

The Cat in a Hat
sat on a mat
(the mat was flat)
when
Pat a bat
who was fat
(a flying rat)
chasing a gnat
(the gnat went zzzat)
dropped in
(splat!)
for a chat
(what a brat)
but
(tit for tat)
was told to scat
imagine that!

(Moral of the story: Uninvited unwelcome)

Memory at the Door

She knocks on my rib cage
seeking access to my heart again

The knock—the pounding pestle—
taunts, its echo won’t stand to be ignored
I hold my knees and cover my ears
as if that’ll keep my walls untampered
I let my flesh wrap me whole—
so tight I might suffocate,
but I cannot breathe outside this
prison, no—this haven

She’s still here at my door,
holding flowers too vibrant in color—
the amber petals too lifeless for summer
Her indifferent smile, gentle and fair,
yet brings chill to my bones exposed in June air
My teeth knock against each other
tap-tap-tap-tap-tap-tap-tap—
I want to scream for her to leave
but the only voice made out
was the repeating beat of horror

She’ll eventually enter,
one way or another—
Winter takes up a room in my chest
always waiting to host her.

Peacespeaker

Parties and narcotics claimed your kind affection
End of our rocky road, all mattered except I
And now fifteen years passed you sought my attention
Coming at the wrong time when my heart closed its eyes
End of my marriage was the beginning of yours
Sad songs of misery and sorrow ruled my time
Put my past in its grave and opened my heart's door
End of your marriage was now the new start of mine
All my years alone your indifference was clear
Knowing I'm married now you suddenly appear
End to these memories, you're forever released
Resisting your bold presence for my heart wants peace

Two friends with haughty heads on long neck’s crest,
can’t enter nearby house through door for fest.
      Dinner time of elation,
      can’t control temptation,
sneak through window as uninvited guest.

Uninvited hades

infant sucked up in red waters
old buried in the red pools
it's a pity
on a black day
dies Mr pity
on a pity day
in a pity time
into a pity grave
in a black out
it's a pity
when I looked into the skies
I could see heroes gone
before their time during the black day

The Uninvited Rain

Slowly came the uninvited rain
Started to get fast
Sounded like-
Sizzling bacon on a pan
Sleeping insects woke to its sound
Silently, watching this scene
Soil got moist, settled, and wet
Stops the wind, and the rain stops too
Slowly it came, slowly it went
Sight of the water from skies stops

He ate a bowl of spicy soup
Though hot, he had it in large scoop
He felt his bowels growl
He started farting foul
Before he knew, came out the poop

Premium MemberUninvited Visitors

The demons of my mind come and visit me every night - taking satisfaction in the pain they bring my way

Though I lay in seek - of a peaceful evening’s sleep
They choose my worries as a playground on which to play

With howls and screams which pierce through my dreams - they often wake me from my evening’s rest

Racing through my mind - feeding on every fear that they find - putting my faith in almighty god to ridged test

I struggle through the night- in wait of morning light -as the onslaught of their taunting’s take a toll

Bringing dread to my life- that tomorrow I’ll find strife - and every obstacle I face will crush my soul

Premium MemberAn Uninvited Guest

To give my upset mind some rest,
once I went to a forest at my mom’s behest.
There I saw a beautiful nest,
built by a bird with a crest.
                        The bird had a colorful breast;
I observed it with pure zest.
                        To it I was an uninvited guest;
and my presence it couldn’t digest.
                        It flew to the east and the west;
                          I was the cause for its unrest;
my sojourn there, for it was a real test.
                        Finally sensing its candid request,
I left the place, wishing it all the best!

Uninvited

You are uninvited

And though yes though i am
just at the tender age of 19

I am not frightened

To have my say

Be dismissed as a minor

As having nothing relevant
on offer worthy of listening
to all

But millions of jagged little
pills sold beg to differ

As nothing proves i hear you like

Platinum and Gold framed
disks and multiple awards

Matters not if you are on
board or not

No 1 can wish to be or expect
to be loved by everyone

For you so to can not garner
the likes of fan's

Without expecting the
wrath of disliking critics

Ballet for Vowels

No eyes watch the vowel’s ballet
A masquerade dance for a, e, o or u
Graceful jettes, a happy heart chasses
To celebrate words for entrechat tendu.

Devant at the door an outcast of pas de deux
Begs for entrance to the ball ouvert -
As measured pas de chat leap on a terre blue
Waltz melody coupes the sad allegro heart.

Unseen the small graceful slender shape
Wears echappe dot for a hat
Ecarte and alone to speak of penche
All dressed up – ready to arabesque

Common dancers e, o, u and a eleve
Need new eyes to speak in releve!

Arabesque – a leap
A Terre – movement on the floor
Chasses – to chase
Coupe – to cut
Devant – in front of
Ecart - separated
Echapee o –escaped
Eleve – look up
Entrechat – weave
Jette – a leap

Uninvited

Into this world of pain and problems I came
Uninvited. Yet you accepted me and gave me the chance
To be the delight of some eyes and a heartburn to many.
And I have tried, the best I could, to give a helping hand
To those who were just but long suffering and unloved
Who aspired but reached not the limelight nor earned
The wealth and fame and honors and comforts of life.
