Peacespeaker

Parties and narcotics claimed your kind affection
End of our rocky road, all mattered except I
And now fifteen years passed you sought my attention
Coming at the wrong time when my heart closed its eyes
End of my marriage was the beginning of yours
Sad songs of misery and sorrow ruled my time
Put my past in its grave and opened my heart's door
End of your marriage was now the new start of mine
All my years alone your indifference was clear
Knowing I'm married now you suddenly appear
End to these memories, you're forever released
Resisting your bold presence for my heart wants peace

A very touching and heartfelt poem this is, sometimes they dont realize until much later. And i love how youv expressed here, and the flow and rhymes too. Especially love the lines “ Sad songs of misery and sorrow ruled my time” seamless alliterations there. Pleasure reading this. Sending you light
