Rummage
If you must.
My presence here
Is based on trust
So dressed am I
In Summer svelte
Yet you're to check
My trousers belt;
I'm scanned
As if each cell is rogue
So scrutinised
Despite en vogue
I understand
Away from home
You check my
Hydrocortisone;
The lotion for
My perfect tan
Or salve for lips
To kiss this man
Accept, do I
My gooey three
Could form a plan
For bomb plot spree
A victim
Of mis-communication
Disturbing transport's
Destination
Ungroomed
Is how my luggage ends
While protection
Of the sky depends
On just this task
For safety's sake
More pleasant if
A smile you'd break
Your focus can't be
All on me
Perhaps you're wondering
"What's for tea?"..
Or hoping soon
To get away
To pack for your own
Holiday
So here's my wish
For you to find
Credentials
Of a different kind
As poke and prod
Display and sort
Where discretion is
A last resort
So one day you may
Understand
In travel
To another land
Exposure
To some inner delving
Though required, it may be
Disconcerting

a way to call a greater sky
into a drinking bowl
a way to call
while staying
inside
the odor of this
world eat world reality
your creature self
will sniff out
the scent
of an ungroomed holiness
turn the prayer on its back
expose belly
wriggle
where your tail
spins like a prayer wheel
lost bones will return
still rich with marrow
offer licks and loll
lollygag for a while
then
when you see
your original face
shining
behind the moon
yowl with gratitude

The music played without a word.
A misconception's all I heard.
And by the time I got too old.
The love inside her heart turned cold.
But no one seemed to pay attention.
No one would mention an intervention.
The time just kept ticking away.
And Cupid had nothing to say.
You drink alone up at the bar.
Just reaching for that small town star.
And end up walking home alone.
Where all you hears a dial tone.
There's mystic haze around the moon.
That fills the summer nights in June.
But to a man with long lost hope.
The magic's gone from that trick rope.
So when the world turns half around.
And you wake to your own heart pound.
You can't help wonder why you'd pray.
To make it through another day.
But here you are still unassumed.
Where dusty dreams are kept ungroomed.
And only lonesome songs are played.
In dim lit corners of sun set shade.

Family ties should bind the wound
When parents get their well-earned rest
Ne’er leave a single child ungroomed
While other siblings’ take the best.
They were the most godly parents
Family ties should bind the wound
Neither mom nor pop were errants
Leaving their children to be doomed.
Death lately together entombed
Leaving the six children to share
Family ties should bind the wound
Four are greedy, other two care.
Greedy four hired lawyers to fight
Will leave the two others marooned
The family knows it’s not right
Family ties should bind the wound.

little ungroomed golf
where Kentucky blue grass folds
because of the tee
the surface of ground
all covered in green level
emerald surface
shines the interment
grass is moist and shallow dew
little ungroomed golf
the white drop pearl ball
flies through the air then falls down
hole in one, hooray

“‘Tis elementary my dear boy,” said the unclipped fuzzy lips,
Whose bristles were littered with the debris of remnant chips.
Whatever before the professor had said was forever lost in time,
For the boy had as much the capacity to focus as does a lime.
“Of course, professor,” the boy barfed back in nauseated routine,
As he wished he remembered to take his daily salts of amphetamine.
“Alright then, boy-oh, off you go,” said the somehow contented instructor,
Who believed the boy now understood alternating current conductors.
All the boy had understood was the fantasy in his head of space,
Featuring a creature crawling upon his professor’s ungroomed face.
He imagined a caterpillar on an epic insect adventure,
To colonize his professor’s mouth as a chrysalis in his dentures.

Softly expelling air from the frigid wind
The breeze comes quickly around the bend
Bringing with it the leaves of Autumn
Harvesting Fall with every new vellum
I like the bite of the day pressed upon me
Cool tender fingers caress the dark eve
The colors of yellow, amber, red, and gold
All bring Autumn into the heart’s calm mold
Hearing the lightness of the wind on my neck
Prickling my senses, as it seemed to peck
At my soul, leaving an impression on peace
Lasting and heartfelt, Fall comes within reach
The drooping of the trees, the flowers all bloomed
Time seems to cease to continue ungroomed
Now the season comes without much of a wedge
The Fall reigns supreme, it’s on its own pledge

A white crown lay at her bottom limbs
Like a wreath hung upon the door
When the death angel comes grim
Lost blossoms fall no more
Camellia's white blooms
Full coverage
Now ungroomed
Rained down
Boom
Camellia Japonica a shrub/tree that does well in the south..
