LOST LOVE
Love at first sight
Having thoughts you're Mr right
Emotions creeping in so tight
An angel of love to care
You turned to be seen rare
Coupling to the envy of others fear
At the peak of deep affection
Came angel with huge infliction
And swept the love like erosion
Shattered emotions
Bleeding heart of contrition
Scattered around expression
Broken are the strong feeling
Uncherished are the desired longing
Lustfully lost in the love sharing

Lonesome gusts thrust their course
Through doleful hours of the night;
Every head eased and slumberous,
Except one that here inks its plight.
Blissfully prostrate with remiss peace
Lapses every somnolent eye and ear;
Savoring stretches of boundless rest,
Apart from these ones wrung by fear.
Every bosom caressed by another
Now happiest lies in soothing rest,
But this one ever friendless pines
Under lonely moon's waning zest.
This heart roams through climes
Never trodden by romance's thrill,
Whereon kisses and hugs remain
Alien adventures uncherished still.

In the dull and lonely days
I hate to wake my soul up
from the bed of goofy thoughts
as I see my hollow abdomen
refraining to produce hunger juices
and my eyes dripping the waters
of yesterday's blurry thoughts.
Windows are too far to reach out now
but my terrible wishes
dragging me to look those
aristocratic nature
oozing the beauty of love
with a hope to insert resilience.
Here, I am lying with a broken entity
failing to continue with the flow,
and hopping in the groups
of unpaired filth and despair.
I tremble in the fear
of sitting in a matchstick chair,
"no chance of survival",
it leaves me restless with its hushed voice.
The fear of repeated falls
sinks me down everytime
in January's unfamiliar snow layers.
In the dull and lonely days,
I feel an uncherished love
eats me up like a cannibal,
first starting with my heavy brain
it wraps the whole body up
and I sigh seeing my chewing gum
like body bursts in laughter
wearing the padded outfit
to conceal the shrunken body,
howling skin, swayed heart
and decaying entity.

Some emotions are so very deep…
They bubble at the surface in our hearts, like a delicious stew that incises the lonely traveler…
Love and passion are two of these intense emotions…
You can give them away and still have plenty to spare…
Like a few comfortable jeans you can sit and read a book in on a lazy afternoon…
But the betrayal of that love and passion can cut you to the core and feel as if your heart was ripped out and thrown onto the cold floor…
Still, you go on in life wishing and hoping to be cherished and loved by a beloved soul…
To know once in for all, how it truly is to be cherished…

the foreplay and afterglow
isforgotten in the show
of virility and might
so she cries into the night
She's uncherished and unsought
All his tenderness forgot
In the rush of passion's need
Fantasies remain....unfreed
She remembers yesteryear
When he clasped her, held her dear
Now she's just a bedded form
Lost in her desire's storm
With a sigh her closes eyes
dreams her dreams of paradise
where her love she celebrates
and her wants she consummates
Where she smiles in wanton bliss
as she's bathed in lover's kiss
in a place where fertile mind
intercourse with body finds
where foreplay and afterglow
build up to climactic show
and love pounds with wondrous might
leaving joyous tears in sight

This is the case for many in long term relationships. Relationships should be nurtured for the flame to burn bright.

Everyone knows best
Said and spoken from heart
What's best felt is what's best kept
Under wraps and sure not to leave mark
Penciled in and stenciled
This trace left evident
Charcoaled in and chiseled
This pain hard to forget
We know it and thus we remember
Hold onto that which crumbles once held through fingers
Try, give, love, forgive-
But it only serves to shame us in the end
Goes unrequited, goes unwelcomed
Goes forgotten, goes uncherished
As they say and so as it's been said
Everyone knows best in the end.

The Dark Journey
Authored by Chuck Keys
The solitary man walks a thin line,
With no front or back,
Nor left nor right,
Alone, among no others.
His trees have no branches,
Nor leaves, nor fruit,
With no growth or death,
Needs no nourishment.
Within himself he stands,
Fearless and fearful,
Patiently searching his soul,
Neither strength nor weakness.
The solitary man reeks of timelessness,
With no friend nor foe,
Not bright nor dark,
Timidly under the calm of his pending end.
His beginning, a shallow emptiness,
Uncherished empty years followed,
Bitter to taste what was never there,
He morbidly ends as he lived, alone.
