Beautiful Twin

so amazing twin
what about the twinning trees!?
not only twin trees
yet, eight hundreds years old age
they are in South Korea

Evermore

While wending my way one sunny day
in no particular direction
on stopping for reflection
I took a look at flowers by the rustic fence
beside a gnarled old tree
and was amused to see
beautiful colours and textures
which it seemed to me could only be
a painting picturesque
packed with pinks and reds yellows too
while beyond there lay
a field of green beneath a sky of blue
an avid artist if not gardener
it must have been
to have created
such as the sight I had seen
tho' my words won't describe
don't do justice to the sight I saw
it is etched in my memory
and will remain so evermore

Premium MemberLeaf

The beauty of your life is so easy to see,
In the colors and lines of your symmetry.
After a time with the tree of your life,
Severed from your stem by the wind as a knife.

To ride the wind and swirl to the ground,
To please another as your beauty is found.
I can see in your color a purpose you serve,
Formed to perfection, each little curve.

Planted in rich soil, the tree grew quite tall,
A steam flowing near, gave water to all.
The roots, limbs and branches their part so bold,
To bring out the best in the warmth and cold.

But it is truly my solemn belief,
A tree is most beautiful because of the leaf.

Premium Memberjealous of a tree

the moon sparkled with a magic the world had not seen
spring blossoms on trees were dazzling in her happy sheen
tiny purple violets on the ground felt dowdy in compare
a mystical sense of entitlement was in the evening air

grasses reassured the tiny flowers they were beautiful too
especially, they told them, when you open up with dew
lavender tree had no idea she was the object of jealousy
the moon suspected this however, for he was envious of this tree

TREE LOVE

My love grows like a tree for you.
Growing endlessly, it spreads across the garden of love.
It gives us cover from storms, and shade from the sun.
It is strong for us to hold onto in bad times.
It has roots that spread out and intertwine within the garden, making the tree strong to hold on.
Making our love stronger and stronger with each storm.
The tree of love is so beautiful, with flowers and green, it glows, like our love, so brilliantly.
My love for you continues on and I planted this tree for you to hold onto in the storms.
For all the storms that may come, remember we can always find a way to calm ourselves with the beauty of our garden of love.
Our walk in the garden of love has been so much fun.
May God be with us in our garden, we pray today and always, lovingly, your children of the garden.

on a sizzling august afternoon
the glitter on the water scintillates
tapdancing on a hot griddle
till a cool breeze reaches the shore
and loosely sways the braids
of an old weeping willow
as if to a sweet nostalgic rhythm

The plum tree and the boy

In the center of the city,
There was a plum tree
Whose flowers were in bloom;
White and rose
They attracted the attention
Of whoever walked by;
In the morning a girl,
That was walking by the tree,
Took her camera and began to make photos;
Later on a mother with her child,
Was passing by
And her child was pointing at the tree;
The mother took the child in her arms
And he began taking
Some flowers from the plum tree;
Any passerby that passed by.
The plum tree turned their heads
And looked
At its white and rose flowers;
In the middle of the day,
A young couple stopped
And sat by the plum tree;
The boy took some little flowers
From the tree,
With care not to harm the tree.
And gave the flowers to the girl,
Who was sitting,
Admiring the beauty of the plum tree;
Time after time
Would be heard voices,
Of the people who seeing.
The plum tree would say to each other:
»Look this plum tree is in bloom now!»
«Look isn’t it beautiful!?»

Premium MemberGreat Family Tree

Spring and Summer those seasons went by
The best thing in the world always falls from the sky
No matter the situation, the love was theirs
The price was no luxury for the poor boys and girls
To sit up and prosper with such a delight
It grew up so fast, like a thief in the night
Many more came from just that one person
The first one that came made things a little worser
Then things got better to the lucky number six
Because the best number of all was three from the mix
It grew up so beautiful with no time to wonder
Intertwined with the opposite, then here come November
With no time to spare, the poor thing grew
Then out of the blue one became two
Wasted no time at all it just happened to be
The best part about it came happy number three
To move out the way and stay the course
It was time to add one more, and that soon made four
The number was up, and everything was complete
And that was how it started my Great Family Tree!!!

Premium MemberWhy Weeping Willows Weep

Mankind in all his stupidity and greed is slowly destroying our beautiful earth, the warnings are there but he chooses to ignore them.
Quote by poet.

I sat down under the cool shade of some weeping willow trees,
a babbling brook flowed nearby and was so soothing to hear.
I felt totally relaxed then I fell asleep and started to dream.
So, I asked the trees a question why is it that you all weep?
one said" We weep because of the way man treats mother earth,
he cuts down her forests because of greed causing climate change,
he dumps rubbish in her great oceans and is killing all her wildlife,
and causes great conflicts because others don't share his views.
So, you see my friend we don't have much to be happy about".
A plane flying overhead finally woke me up from my deep sleep.
It troubled me what I'd dreamt and as I walked away, I wept with them.

"The faces of pretty flowers will brighten anyone's day." By Poet

Today I took a walk down the street,
and found a beautiful flower garden.
I was in awe of the "Jewel" like flowers,
some stretching their heads over the white fence.
The "Gate" was open so I went in,
the bunny heard me "Mutter" heavenly place.
A weeping willow caught the sun in a "Shadow."
