Freshly brewed fog and a fall rain,
the mist could transform to a beast;
Winds might swirl becoming a frog
pulsing so loud inside your throat;

You’ll second guess and feel insane
when elevated fears are greased;
Hit that plot twist with no prologue
left rolling in those tales remote;

Bring that quill back to analog,
tranquilize this poet’s stained note.

Voice

In your mesmerizing voice, I find my peace,
A treat for my ears that brings sweet release.
Speak my name, let it resonate like a song,
You've gifted me feelings, where I truly belong.

With words so vivid, in their harmonious sound,
They tranquilize my heart, love tightly wound.
Echo them once more, let butterflies take flight,
End my silent suffering with your words of light.

There's so much left unsaid, emotions run deep,
Yet, sometimes silence conveys more than we speak.
Whispers of you, like a gentle breeze, so clear,
Take my breath away, let your presence draw near.

Play my favorite music, the one I desire the most,
I yearn for its soothing notes, the memories they host.
Grant me the sounds that bring solace to my soul,
I crave them like a treasure, making me feel whole.

In your voice and the music's soft embrace,
I find the serenity, love, and grace.
This symphony of emotions, a treasure I boast,
In this realm of sound, my heart is engrossed."

because it cracks me up and I thought we might laugh together

Oh, no, he best not patronize me on Valentines.
If I must dramatize appreciation, I shall agonize.

Each year, he thinks chocolates will rationalize
spending his time guarding the sofa so it won’t rise,
while my cooking and housework threaten to paralyze
all I am behind my victimized and exhausted eyes.
Unless he bears one, one way ticket for me to paradise
or procures a gift he ingests that will tranquilize,
he can stuff candy hearts in his behind so gelintized.

The last time I fell for that darned, deceiving cupid
I committed to him and living my life forever stupid.

Premium MemberTaking the Cats To the Vet

Cats don't like going to the vet,
In fact, they can get quite upset.
Somehow they just know,
When the crate makes a show,
They instantly begin to fret.

First they'll hide under the bed.
Getting them out fills us with dread.
They'll scratch and they'll bite,
And put up a fight.
Wish we could tranquilize them instead.

In the car they'll meow and cry,
Sounding like their going to die.
In the office they'll balk,
And no treat or sweet talk,
Will make them willing to comply.

Of course the vet knows what to do,
And after an exam and a shot, too,
They'll run into their crate.
Going home is so great,
We can't help but shout Yahoo!

Torment of the Mind: Part Two

Everything in the past that could get her down
Plays in her mind to the sound
Of sweet torture.
It's a scorcher
Like the burning suns rays on a hot day
Traumatic thoughts must have his way

Burn those memories!
Don't allow them to resurface
Find an outlet for your energy
Don't let them make you feel worthless!

Traumatic thoughts depressingly inteferes
Fades away and then reappears
He recalls every failure
All her socially awkward behavior
Scattered in her mind
Stop being so unkind...
To yourself!
Place these memories on a shelf

Tranquilize those memories!
Because they want to resurface
Find an outlet for your energy
You are not worthless!
You are beautiful and bold
Get a hold
Of yourself...
Restore your health.

Sunflowers and Butterflies

What a demonic way to demoralize?
When a player's most prestigious prize
is the pure pie between tender thighs...
these seeds are not for fools to fertilize.

What a lascivious way to liberalize?
When girls use skimpy skirts to advertise
their wares for freaky flirts to fantasize...
You are taunting them to tantalize.

What a gruesome way to galvanize?
When milky mounts become merchandise
for poor pedestrians to patronize...
their tools get tempted to terrorize.

What a marvelous way to mordernize?
when sisters learn to sensibly socialize,
and men's tools are trained to tranquilize...
sunflowers and butterflies will fraternize.

I'Ll Be There

I come to percolate like coffee on your brain
Trying to regulate your state
Of mind to think things through before your fall off the cliff for running out of time,
I steep like tea on a breezy morning cooling down with the wind, I roll through your thoughts like a steam roller on hot asphalt, squashing negativity for you to unwind,
I carry the weight of your world on my shoulders,
I tranquilize my anger, it's the weight crushing my soul structure, I am the radiation from the sun traveling faster than physics can explain, I filter through your words so that you can speak again,
When your lungs collapse from so much toxic rhetoric putting you down, I'll be the vaccine to rid you of dirty illnesses product of society's work,
No police can regulate your actions, when you're all about passionate acts of true heartily compassion,
I am the latest garment for your soul, I'm the latest pair of shoes to keep on trailing to get you safely home,
When my cellular structure stops brewing my unique substance to allow me to teach you to love, keep spreading out like roses on a garden thanks to Mother Nature and bees kissing your every petal.

Singing To the Choir

Singing To the Choir

(Or is it preaching? You choose.)

My oh my oh my and much more my
(Seattle Mariner's Theme Song)
(How about Mine, Mine, Mine the
seagulls say at Disneyworld?)
God has given me ability to get by
Overcome awful old age and senility
By using composure with some sterility.

When I did write poems would realize
It was you my poems did tranquilize
With effects from God that are correct
So which one should I try to select.

Turned out to be love of my long life
Good looking creature and lovely wife
Them hands together started to wring
Hopes I join choir and there be singing.

Have you been in that position before?
Person you surely, truly love and do adore
Wants you to be preaching to the choir
When long poor life is about to expire.

James Thesarious Hilarious Horn

Preaching to choirs for someone to
come and pull out with pliers all the
songs I am poorly singing. Not only
do they want them to go unnoticed,
but also unheard to me it occurred.
What should they declare as probable
cause. Off of women, can't keep my
paws.

Split Personality

Normally I am sober
Love to socialize
Never lose composure
Need no disguise

I am an IT engineer
I am a good husband
Clara my wife dear
Earns several thousand

We are a happy family
Except the deadly alter
As they say the insanity
Needs a strong halter

Whenever you humiliate me
The rebel will come up
Will bring out invariably
The beast in my soul-hub

And when the beast is out
To do something horrible
Irrational bloods shout
I am criminally terrible

But the normal I has no memory
Of the monster in me
Nor the alter is aware
Of the others who accompany

This dissociation is disastrous
Psychiatry has no remedy
Psychotherapy is advantageous
For the disturbed chemistry

The broken home of my childhood
Haunts me in my dream
Both the identities in the darkness
Are in full-throated scream

Doctors give me medicines
For anxiety and depression
Sending me in reticence
To tranquilize the elephant

I don’t know how long I will stay
With this miserable destiny
I am afraid one clouded day
I'll kill both of me

By Design

By design, I was created to tranquilize your mind,
enter your world and cause it to align,
protect your spirit from the unkind,
be your inspiration,
support your vision,
help you to give birth to your mission.

By design, I was molded to mesmerize your mind,
lips that taste like burgundy wine,
honey pot that tastes like sweet melon vine,
be your lover,
give you my undivided attention.

By design, I was born to elevate your mind,
introduce you to the refined.

If you are so inclined,
i promise to keep our love enshrined.

this is all By design.

Beneath a Bearded Tree

Beneath a bearded tree I sat
Expecting on a gaze,
When interview a headless hat
Came whiffling through the haze.

For laffs he wore a slight of grin,
And luck a charmless arm.
Four feathers grew upon his chin.
His steptwin was a farm.

Good Rooter with his tranquilize
Spread fat across the land.
To bleat the water from his cries
And polish up his hand.

‘Beware the Moo!’ A Cow called out,
His udders clothed in drag.
‘Beware its hook and pout-ful shout.
Its Moo-beams in a bag!’

Beneath a bearded tree I sat
Re-musing on the dayz.
When interview a stripy cat
Came whiffling through the haze.

	America Under Attack
	Written: by Tom Wright
	9/15/01

	Lord,
	look beneath our tears,
	And broken hearts;
As we weigh our country's fate.
And through our tears and anger,
	Help us dismantle
	Our engine's of hate.

	Grant us wisdom
	Within each new day,
To be tolerant toward those we meet.
	Defiling not innocence
	As we right this wrong,
	Placing responsibility at culpable feet;

	For Lord,
	lives will be infinitely changed,
Grand eulogies only tranquilize our pain.
	We look once again,
	In prayer, to You,
That our losses, we pray, be Heavens gain.

	Let not us panic,
	Nor become as critiques,
	Of America and her resolve to defend;
	But make common
	Our passion for Jesus,
For on none other does it depend.
