Best Tranquilize Poems

Premium Member Poet -This Poem Is About You

-Dear, Mr & Mrs Poet-

Do you ever question where it comes from?
This poem's about you, sit down and get a load off
Tranquilize your pen, take heed to the ecstatic applause

The things in life we take for granting, in time get worse
From WHICH' our lives transverse, ascends a deep poetic curse
You write almost everything, rehearsing every living verse
Embezzling words, like Martha Stewart, ---NOT YOURS!
Withdrawing from your substance,
--yielding it to others, who aren't devoted lovers
Spacing your lines, ready for reader's digest,
Educating the mind, like Albert Einstein

You paint a different horizon for the color blind,
Drop a note, forecasting the news, that brings, Spring to mind
Your adrenaline, leaves people with a feel good faint.
At this level, Poet you're better than high speed Internet,
Anything that makes you feel this is the real deal,
Today, you write like there's no tomorrow, borrowing yesterday's clay
Inspiring ink, left to right, feeding the need to breed a poetic degree
Your dramatic dialogue, deserve 'The Peoples Choice award."

I love the sweet audio, when you lowercase every word
It's done so well, hell, let's never capitalize another word
Reaching a point across, when capitalizing every letter,
This is your world, take it, manipulate it, with the perfect stanza
Produce it like a poetic film, imagery, action, CUT it like Jerry Bruckheimer
One day Hollywood will incite a roll, looking for the best poetry soup rhymer

Your tears and affection, you pour on partial paper,
Showing every word you want to enunciate
A SHOULDER-- gone cold, drowning, forgetting the normal way
Writing about the pure religion that meets your light,
A beautiful flower under the moonlight
Hear the bells, Poe wrote about, adding sprinkles to the twinkle in your eyes,
A redolent scent not meant to be forgotten, from Eden's garden
Taking nature, by course, granting her a crown, before slamming us down
I will call her out --The evil and the fury of a goddess, a beast
This is my feast, I welcome you to my jungle, and the outer bounds of time.

If you ever question where it comes from?
Sit down and get a load off, listen---Where's the ecstatic applause?
I'm not afraid to say, -----I'm Proud to be A Poet Without A Cause

Premium Member Bloodstone Truth

If truth had a color,
when twilight bleeds
burgundy rivers,
you’ll find these garnet
eyes pleading
to be heard through
poetic sunsets.
For I’ve been swirling
and twirling
through nomadic illusions,
like a goddess of
thunder with a tiger spirit,
never letting go of
the history of hurt,
left by the unkind mind
of inhumane humankind-
which throbs deeper
than the sharpest thorns
in peacock feathers,
that I’ve danced to -
in flawless frequencies
amongst abstracts
of an architect.

If truth had a tune,
It would be too ferocious
to be unraveled,
the kind of fire that
dares to burn,
the hellish tombs of terror,
constantly pushing
every contrasting dream
to be feasted upon
satan’s last supper,
painting every salvage sunrise,
with strokes of petrichor scent
dipped in astral rain-dreams.
As I’ve been the
queen of the night,
longing to soar
across the horizon
where unconfined
eagles and golden dragonflies,
shall tranquilize
this publicized heart caged
as a motionless mannequin
in a glass mansion.

If truth was covered in furry skin,
to glaze skeletons veiled
beneath crooning clouds,
it would be the beginning
of an unstoppable ending,
of an immeasurable
brokenness resting as
irreversible numbness.
As I’ve seen storms
brewing bruises
through seas of sorrow,
amidst illusory lakes
of rose quartz,
streaming down
emerald hills,
hiding the grotesque
kingdom of fragmented gates.

But what if truth
never was a matter,
as it’s all but mere myth
floating along golden ripples
in a pool of sentimental stars.
What if truth was
once a maiden in distress?
What if truth was
once a shadow in search of light?
What if truth was a fool
hoping to be dressed
in dancing dandelions?
what if truth is what
has got this onyx heart on fire?
Perhaps, truth lays in
the arms of a clock,
waiting for it’s turn
to make time stop,
when lovers destined to meet,
rebuild chess of life in ruins,
as footsteps on
glistening glaciers
reveal the secrets
left by snow angels
leading us back to
an unbreakable moon affair.

Oh, no, he best not patronize me on Valentines.
If I must dramatize appreciation, I shall agonize.

Each year, he thinks chocolates will rationalize
spending his time guarding the sofa so it won’t rise,
while my cooking and housework threaten to paralyze
all I am behind my victimized and exhausted eyes.
Unless he bears one, one way ticket for me to paradise
or procures a gift he ingests that will tranquilize,
he can stuff candy hearts in his behind so gelatinized.

The last time I fell for that darned, deceiving cupid
I committed to him and living my life forever stupid.

Premium Member Taking the Cats To the Vet

Cats don't like going to the vet,
In fact, they can get quite upset.
Somehow they just know,
When the crate makes a show,
They instantly begin to fret.

First they'll hide under the bed.
Getting them out fills us with dread.
They'll scratch and they'll bite,
And put up a fight.
Wish we could tranquilize them instead.

In the car they'll meow and cry,
Sounding like their going to die.
In the office they'll balk,
And no treat or sweet talk,
Will make them willing to comply.

Of course the vet knows what to do,
And after an exam and a shot, too,
They'll run into their crate.
Going home is so great,
We can't help but shout Yahoo!

Wet Dreams

Wet Dreams

WITH HER DOWN CAST EYES, MY SWEET ANGEL LISTENS TO MY PRAYERS
SHE LOOKS PREDISPOSED TO TRANQUILIZE ALL MY CARES
AS I FALL TO SLEEP OVER MY MIND SWEET FASCINATION REIGNS
TO MAKE ME THINK SWEET PARADISE I HAD GAINED
SHE ENTERS MY DREAMS LIKE A THIEF IN THE NIGHT
I BASK IN HER LOVE WITH EXQUISTE DELIGHT
HER EYES ARE THE STARS, LIKE SPARKLING DIAMONDS IN THE NIGHT
HER SOFT KISSES ARE TENDER, AND DRAIN ME OF ALL MY MIGHT
SHE HAS STOLEN MY SOUL, HER LOVE BURNS LIKE FIRE
INFLAMED IS MY HEART, MY PASSION FILLED DESIRE
I EMBRACE HER BEAUTEOUS SPIRIT; A THOUSAND TIMES I AM BLESSED
HER FAIR STATUESQUE BODY I CARINGLY CARESS
MY ANGEL A TOP OF ME - I CANNOT DENY HER
AS SHE TAKES ME TO HEAVEN- WE SOAR FOREVER HIGHER
WE FEEL THE THUNDER- AS OUR BODIES PEAK
A FEELING SO WANTED, - A NEEDED RELEASE
AN EXPLOSION OF EMOTION,
AND THEN SATISFYING PEACE.

I AWAKE THE NEXT MORN - MY SHEETS SOAKING WET
I REMEMBER MY DREAM,- HOW COULD I EVER FORGET
I PANICK WHEN I SEE - SOME UNMENTIONABLE STAINS
A PRACTICE I KNOW MY PARENTS WOULD PREFER I REFRAIN.
FOR ASSUREDLY I TELL YOU, REMEMBERING THIS YOUNG BOYS BLISS
THAT HUNGRYLY I WAIT FOR MY NEXT ANGEL’S KISS.

Split Personality

Normally I am sober
Love to socialize
Never lose composure
Need no disguise

I am an IT engineer
I am a good husband
Clara my wife dear
Earns several thousand

We are a happy family
Except the deadly alter
As they say the insanity
Needs a strong halter

Whenever you humiliate me
The rebel will come up
Will bring out invariably
The beast in my soul-hub

And when the beast is out
To do something horrible
Irrational bloods shout
I am criminally terrible

But the normal I has no memory
Of the monster in me
Nor the alter is aware
Of the others who accompany

This dissociation is disastrous
Psychiatry has no remedy
Psychotherapy is advantageous
For the disturbed chemistry

The broken home of my childhood
Haunts me in my dream
Both the identities in the darkness
Are in full-throated scream

Doctors give me medicines
For anxiety and depression
Sending me in reticence
To tranquilize the elephant

I don’t know how long I will stay
With this miserable destiny
I am afraid one clouded day
I'll kill both of me

Disturbed Creature- Am I

A poem wrote by me, based on Person who is a deserving icon but still struggling hard with his career life and addressed as disturbed creature.

DISTURBED CREATURE--> Am I ??       BY Mrs.Madhavi

Am I so insane, Am I so mad,
Dramatic mood of mine is so die hard.
Destroyed my peace, Shattering my dreams,
People call me as disturbed creature.
As like mounting the pain, attenuating the drain!!

Digesting my feelings lying inside me,
Strangely nobody cared, call me sick.
Teasing me lavishly and my heart is pricked,
Hurted me like hell when addressed me as stupid.
As like showering rain, missing on the lane!!

Time lapse in journey of life,
Can hamper anybody on its path.
When I see innate reflex of mine,
I always use to brightly shine.
Though possessing every job attributes of mine,
I never thought the authorities will ditch and hamper my career line.
Falsely acting bloody swine, making my image as fade as wine.
As like affecting harmonious divine, my soul was, as is transparently pristine!!

Destroying me and testing my patience, Never wanna give up.
Transformed deviations, wanna rightly screw up.
I wanna raise up, I wanna shake up.
I wanna wake up, Tranquilize my mind.
Unzip the professional life compressed by the culprits.
Wanna explore myself, driving the motivated heights of journey.
Lastly waiting for the optimistic opportunity.
Cuffing the suspect ,I wanna rejoice by my pattern of life!!

Guns and Roses

First person shooter,
on a hate tour of duty,
swinging a bullet sling blade
Buying a death row ticket,
worth fifteen minutes of fame
First person murder shooter;
womb-to-the-cradle-to-the-grave robber,
using your Automatic Revolver
to solve your anti-social mental problems
Sharpen that sling blade
on a coroner grindstone wheel
Gather the scythe-shredded corpses
from the harvest killing field
Take the bullet-riddled body bags,
with warm blood dripping still ...
and kevlar
	      coffin
bury them on Tommy Gun hill
Guns and Roses —
Automatic Revolver 15 bullet salute
Let the gun pallbearers put ‘em in the ground,
and the saltpeter pew mourners
put the rose flowers on the graves
AR-15 bullet salute ...

Guns and Roses —
giving society another senseless violence eulogy
Guns and Roses —
weapons of war killing innocent children of peace
Guns and Roses —
ricochet death purchased with capitalist ease

No background check to vet tranquilize
the uncaged rage,
wearing a Second Amendment disguise
Empty thoughts and prayers,
full of politician hypocrisy
Thirty pieces of silver tongue lip-cluckers
offering a gun lobby: no gun control policy
A paid, no-money-back Judas apology
Snake oil teary talk rubbed on dry soul skin,
allergen empathy-free

Guns and Roses —
sacred shell religious philosophy
Guns and roses —
kinetic death violence theology

Gun manufacture worshipers
love deifying the work of their hands
They love to praise their golden trigger head
	silver handle arms
	brass chamber belly
	lead barrel legs
	paper green toes idol
Saying: Let your scimitar banana-shaped heart
always remain sharp
And may your lead scythe sling blade soul
never be dulled

Guns and roses —
waxy ears don’t hearst hear it ...
bulletproof hearts so iceberg smoking cold
Guns and roses —
plastic carnation petal spirits ...
metal detector salvation black market sold

Cycle of the Sunken

Today you look thin,
Every mirror slanders doves,
Tomorrow you’re fat.

Internal war waged,
Relentless burns subside,
Tranquilize the fear.

Society smears,
Fractured fountations tremble,
Look up for repair.

A Bear In the Grocery Store

A Bear in the Grocery Store

By Elton Camp

The greeter on the grocery side
Screamed as her eyes grew wide.
Never had she seen that before.
A black bear walked in the door.

Customers looked to see the matter.
Spotted the bear and began to scatter.
The public address began to blare,
Ordering associates to come there.

Customers were asked to leave the store.
“Just right now, we can’t sell any more.
Leave your shopping carts where they are,
Quietly and orderly file out to your car.”

The bear seemed to think all was fine.
And all orders to leave he did decline.
Only a deep, angry growl need he say
To make all the associates back away.

“I won’t risk incurring the bear’s rage.
Why, they only pay me minimum wage.
The manager’s the one who should care.
So, it is up to him to get rid of this bear.”

The bear stopped for a big bite of fruit.
Then the beef counter he began to root.
Once he seemed to have enough to eat,
He then reared up high on his hind feet.

The bear let out with a ferocious roar
One that completely emptied the store.
But when workers arrived from the zoo,
They were ones who knew what to do.

So, it was easy enough, in their eyes,
The wild bear to simply tranquilize.
The local newspaper had this to say:
“Wal-Mart had a bear market today.”

Singing To the Choir

Singing To the Choir

(Or is it preaching? You choose.)

My oh my oh my and much more my
(Seattle Mariner's Theme Song)
(How about Mine, Mine, Mine the
seagulls say at Disneyworld?)
God has given me ability to get by
Overcome awful old age and senility
By using composure with some sterility.

When I did write poems would realize
It was you my poems did tranquilize
With effects from God that are correct
So which one should I try to select.

Turned out to be love of my long life
Good looking creature and lovely wife
Them hands together started to wring
Hopes I join choir and there be singing.

Have you been in that position before?
Person you surely, truly love and do adore
Wants you to be preaching to the choir
When long poor life is about to expire.

James Thesarious Hilarious Horn

Preaching to choirs for someone to
come and pull out with pliers all the
songs I am poorly singing. Not only
do they want them to go unnoticed,
but also unheard to me it occurred.
What should they declare as probable
cause. Off of women, can't keep my
paws.

	America Under Attack
	Written: by Tom Wright
	9/15/01

	Lord,
	look beneath our tears,
	And broken hearts;
As we weigh our country's fate.
And through our tears and anger,
	Help us dismantle
	Our engine's of hate.

	Grant us wisdom
	Within each new day,
To be tolerant toward those we meet.
	Defiling not innocence
	As we right this wrong,
	Placing responsibility at culpable feet;

	For Lord,
	lives will be infinitely changed,
Grand eulogies only tranquilize our pain.
	We look once again,
	In prayer, to You,
That our losses, we pray, be Heavens gain.

	Let not us panic,
	Nor become as critiques,
	Of America and her resolve to defend;
	But make common
	Our passion for Jesus,
For on none other does it depend.

The avalanche crashed an ax from nimbus peaks
these shrouds a pall a maul splitting my shield
this smur slurs my weakened war paint
my skin my beat my breath my breast
gray matter clouds —a pock-marked-psyche wears the ruse of ceruse

cosmos charity clouds once white like daylight once light as sea foam
blown and flown to the expanse of ether airy spirits afloat
now a iron-heart-anvil I’m horizontal
..an empty fossil-frame pressed into earth

these clouds these shrouds upon me
around me about me they cry
my lantern dampened they know why
cataract-clouds dimmed my gaze
they’ve simmered and condensed
they’ve become incensed
they drape me a caterwaul shawl

oh mamma sky your cirrus streams my suckle sweet
nourish my flourish rock me frock me your cumulus crib and fleece
from nest on high fledge me bluebird spry
freckle me starling’s starlight speckle
myself the Milky Way instead of ash-of-flame remains
constellated skin depicts our myth and marrow sagas
my mouth alive with words of the winds
iambic tranquilize of zephyrs sweeping wheat
and lyric wrath of gales aggrieved stripping leaves from trees
with barnstormer speech
cleanse my lens with see-through-rain till wet with reflection
that upends the blur and burr of clouds crashing down
— keep them mamma sky beyond where they belong

so I may return and re-emerge — reimagined
