My pride is bruised
My heart’s been used
My mind’s abused
I’m so confused
Your love had ridges
You burned our bridges
Ignored my wishes
Threw me like dishes
I once felt whole
you torched my soul
If heart break’s the goal
you played a good role
I sink into sadness
I echo the madness
Facedown in my mattress
Like a Hollywood actress
Romantic malpractice
Your love’s like a cactus
I’m pricked by your thorns
And I drown in your storms
You were a lesson to learn
Touched your fire til I burned
You turned my heart into an urn
Now you’re no longer my concern

Satsuma Tumour
Sense of Humour?
That Groomer Rumour
Cometh the Hour
Cometh the TAN!
People Power Glower should Flower
Grassy brassy knolls
But proles at the polls
Sold their Souls
To joust like Faust
Ignore Marcel Proust
Cower before the Ivory Tower
Odd bod elite’s law
Tweets of Sod and God
No Enlightening
Repeats the prism
Or algorithm beats
Every criticism schism
“Ism”..a frightening..lightning rod
Pot..black..kettle knack
Debauched cheats pedal to the metal
Out of whack flak attack
Unsettle our mettle
Plot to settle that score
Scorched and torched serfs
Any petal in fine fettle
& the earth's core

I caught me a Dingo
I named that dog Bingo
He was no more than three
He watched o'er my nippers
And fetched me my slippers
What a good dog was he
One day while out walking
I heard people talking
They were talking 'bout we
"Look at you and that dog"
"That cur smells like a hog"
"You should set that mutt free"
"Since you've more than one child"
"And him raised in the wild"
"It's not safe can't you see"
With their hearts full of lead
They then shot Bingo dead
Said "God meant it to be"
"Now you can just shoo"
"Before we shoot you too"
"Hang you high from this tree"
Defiled, I left wriggling
They smiled and left giggling
Guess the joke was on me
So later on that night
I grabbed gas can and light
To set Bingo's soul free
I crept up like a mouse
And I torched their damned house
Then danced 'round it with glee
Through dead flames and flashes
I gathered their ashes
And cast all out to sea
Now I take it with pride
That he sits by God's side
And chases his Frisbee

They followed him.
They obeyed and fulfilled his commands.
They ate and drank with him.
Then they all went their separate ways
From the one True and Living God
Having a future of being torched.
Having a future of being crucified.
Having a future of being spit on.
Having a future of being skinned alive.
And more of the terrible reasons to die.
The disciples risked their lives
To spread Gospel across the world and teach
The only religion to Four-Corner the Earth
Teaching all nations and baptizing them
WHY DID THEY RISK IT?
Because they had SEEN the truth
They'd witnessed the living God
They'd witnessed the miracles
They'd witnessed the return of the King
No Man Will Go That Far for False Lies
Jesus is Real
God is Real
Heaven is Real

My foe is back
Eight years later
Still tracking footprints
Still throwing shade
Chief hater
Slinging grenades in stacks
Click boom
Lurking like a swamp gator
Cold blooded
No tact
No soul
Just impact
Takeover in phases
Careers torched
Dreams scorched
You hateful witch
Buy
Destruct
Sell
Demonic greed
On a platinum shelf
You torch what you touch
Then grin to yourself
You will never understand
Here take this
It’s useless
Like rebellion in a Fortune 500
Fruitless
Like screaming in a soundproof room
Mute this
But I can't
I won’t
So I do this
Sick with the heat of it
Haunted by the truth of it
Dragging myself
Down this road
Again
No map
No justice
No righteousness

Sans thought, memory fades, we rest,
in time stretched peace, by God’s hand blessed,
poised as awareness self-aware,
laying in the void, our soul bare,
empty of both fear and desire,
as we’re torched by God’s cosmic fire,
pervading every cell of form,
touch divine with which we conform,
our focus firm by night and day,
treating this dream life as mere play.

once
again
the warmth
of sunshine
showered my being
awakening the inkwell of mind
overflowing in musing contemplations
of allegorical messages
of a fertile womb
of mind seeking to inoculate
others against infectious
lies of deceit
sowing apathtic seeds towards
empty scales of justice
and plowing
that pandemic-abracadabra
oppressor syndrome
that we must uproot
in the awareness
of ancient poetic-tragedies
being a thing of the past
and that we must be even stronger
than that ancient survivor*
whose torched memory
ignites burning spears
of seasonal reaities
shaping the fall
of winter-like discontentment
ushering in the springing
of our rooted renewed
liberating spirits...

A pretty little rose born in desert land
Growing in torched hot sand
Where loneliness all around
And no company can be found
Lashed by sunlight
Dry out in hot thirsty night
Though don't know why to live
Fragrance it can give
And it will do
Thought I can't smell you

A grain of sand
In torched desert land
Though many around
Burned with no pain or sound
No man or machine
Can tell the difference in between
Though they look the same
Each one has a different name
Even if you don't what to call
A brick and a brick make a wall
Repetition of the same
Different in number different in game

She slips away having turned cold
No reason, it’s just her nature
Her first night will always linger
Tickertape dreams always endure
The heat of romance quelled her cold
Torched by the warmth of her beauty
Surrounded by youth’s couture
We stood between a past and future
Promises, fragile champagne bubbles
Bursting from a lost hearts longing
‘Neath fireworks of passions lie
Succumb to faded street light paths
Thus, do we dream upon waking
Of promises slowly grown cold

Amidst some ashen memory distilled,
Unfolded all the flowering prose of eye;
Beneath the idea of the weighted song,
Sat still the meditative poet, I.
You knew me in your quiet hours
Long befriended neath a cloak of lust;
A mouse amidst the scent of wilted flowers,
Touched and torched and writhing in the dust.
We did embrace the noble thought,
We did dare contemplate the mortal;
Did compare, complain, for naught
While viewing out the portal.
And of the hunger and the shame
Between the pain and laughter,
Sought together life to tame,
And brace ourselves for after.
Nothing known of consequence or face;
Compassion of a child, we were blind.
We linked our thought to Holiness and Grace
And stepped forth unbeguiled, our God to find.

She--- a demon
She--- a witch
She--- must be torched,
Thought--- the women,
For she,
Their men bewitched
Loving what has no heart-
To love back,
She, comes still
Taking what she can, taking, until--
She has met the devil's hand--
The change of seasons came too early...
A smell of a unique summer flower
Dying in the season of winter
She crippled her tone
Begging the season for kindness
As she sat watching old shows
Craving moments of only-God-knows
If she went outside, the wolves would howl
And hate once more would siren through
If not solitude then who else
To name a companion,
Summer and her temperates,
dried the final leaf
Withered to dust, gone,
When the wind filled the shadows.

Alone I drift, a vagabond psuche, haunted by daughter's lifeblood and husband's self-exploded mind, a diseased landscape. Frantic fingers dance on the page as I conjure reason's faint glow, a desperate chainsaw whirring solace in the abyss. Bloodlust welts of fury scorch the script, a deranged catechism of hedonistic, as I shriek into the fray, my frame a torched earth, solar barren and bereft. Scum-ridden silver glares back, mocking reflections of futility, as I seethe venomous disgust, a reckoning’s reckoning, spewing forth vitriol to corrode the granite complacency. Specters of forgotten faces fragment, a ghastly kaleidoscope of doctored truths, as I screech at the echoing of a hollow existence, a funeral dirge for the self that never was. And smile at the reflection of who I am supposed to be, single-mother-effer's manifesto, don’t effing question she, you don’t have the piano fingers to come near my grace on the keys, I tie cherries with my tongue, have your berries blue by morn, my hands are a whole different story.
Sometimes I amaze even me — this is poetry!!

During life’s sunset years, in slowdown mode,
sidestepping environs that provoke strife,
our tranquil soul dwells in God’s heart abode,
invoking love mists that make us bliss rife.
Kindly eye looks at all with compassion,
tolerant to fault even if we’re scorched,
because where we dwell, love is in fashion,
wayward ego having long since been torched.
As dawn turns to dusk and night shifts to day,
with thoughts at rest and no load on our chest,
to the light that lights all lights, as we pray,
our presence is ensconced in heart’s bliss nest.
Having renounced desire, soul free from stain,
has broken free from earth life’s karmic chain.

Sundial numerals illuminate
Knowing noon narrow shadow arrow strikes
Flicks ‘round corners of maze elaborate
Heraldic daffodil, dormant out psychs
Lion, amber assured stride resolute
Teams beside mine, admires canter cloud bounce
Trembled meshing manes make brushstrokes astute
Abstract turns apparent, rewound amounts
Labyrinth lane secures our fears slumbering
Canary chortle performs audacious
Honey wine celebrates when Summer brings
Walls torched in lofty laughing blazes
Flung flaxen, fertile wheat fields’ wispy waltz
Scorched xanthe seeds multiply dream results
