Miracle Man

Most days we awoke feeling quite asinine,
choice wasn’t to get up or remain supine.
The bugle was telling us rise and shine,
fall in formation “cruits” and ditch the whine.
After a five mile hike you’ll be feeling fine,
with their way of thinking we wouldn’t align.
Our canteens contained water tasting like brine,
with spit shined boots each cleaned his carbine.
K.P. and cleaning grease traps is hard to define,
another duty intended to harass but was benign.
Just one lousy gig got us a barracks confine,
but finally after 9 weeks we were on cloud nine.
All this happened with purpose and by design,
to make men of boys that would toe the line.
AI touch up is now in progress
Be careful though not to lose focus
One wrong blink and here they come
He is now she and I am now he
The worlds gone crazy its safe to say
But how on earth did it get this way?
Everyone wants to fight
Nobody wants to look to the light
AI in progress is being cheered
But when did an opinion become weird?
They lock you up now just for standing
Whilst others roam and climb a mountain
Whites vs browns is now the rhetoric
But its OK when your all wearing a Nike tick
We cheered them on, but it didn't come home
Instead this world is now all blown
Little girls lost their lives
Making bracelets for a concert in sight
They just wanted to dance, sing, laugh and play
But that was all taken away
AI in progress gets louder each time
But are we going to toe the line?
The problem is not just white vs colour
That should never have ever mattered
AI in progress is now here
But long gone are the crowds of cheers
AI in progress that is now life
AI in progress.....are you ready to fight?
AI touch up now in progress...
Be careful not to lose focus......

To be on time,
We must toe the line.
Do not hurry, fret, or rush,
Or miss the plane, train, or bus.
No. Time does not wait,
But still, don't be late.
Give her due respect.
Be prompt and don't neglect.
Time cannot change yesterday;
But she can shape today and tomorrow.
Sometimes, we must make adjustments.
There are things we cannot prevent.
Moreover, it's also vital to be timely,
Because time is a bridge to destiny.

Screw the rules is the motto I live by
Too old to toe the line
So sue me and then just try to collect
Won't be alive to pay the fine
I'll be kicking up daisies on a hill out back
As you tear out all your hair
Sure had the last laugh you uptype people
Just break the rules if you dare
Rules are made to be broken I've heard
Love to see the reaction
These sillies go nutso and red in the face
At my blatant infraction
Oh for the days when we burned our garbage
In a fire pit behind our house
And just for a little excitement sometimes
We'd throw in a little mouse
Barbaric you say, I learned from the best
Daddy taught me all about life
Said “never take life too serious, my son”
You don't get to go around twice
Let silence be answerable to sound.
Unplug yourself
move with caution through crowds
bow head as if in prayer
yet deny God at all costs.
Let the brave resist...
survive.
Support our leaders
whoever or whatever is in charge.
have no reservations or doubts,
its all for your own good,
for your own peace of mind.
Fake brain damage.
Now that truth is a lie,
agree to agree.
if you are young enough
to be conscripted
volunteer to kill at will.
Avoid clubs and interest groups,
stay under the radar.
Surrender your gun
say you found it in a ditch.
Never complain.
Always smile and nod.
Acclaim proudly
that poverty is patriotism.
Criminals are the real victims,
apologies to all for being you.
When they say we must try harder
to "flatten the curve"
never ask "What curve?"
Believe the official news
toe the line.
Never ask "What line"?
Turn a blind eye
to EVERYTHING.
You can lead a horse to water
But you can’t make him drink,
You can tell a man the facts
But you can’t make him think,
You can tell him you’re angry
And you can tell him why
But don’t be upset if
He doesn’t bother to reply.
He’s probably tired and worried
Trying to make ends meet
Juggling his money so
His family can eat.
He works all hours he can
For the minimum wage
And he has to toe the line
Just can’t show his rage,
And he’s in despair
That he needs the food banks
He’s got over the shame
As he mutters his thanks.
He knows he should be angry
Knows it isn’t right
But the struggle for survival
Has killed his will to fight.
Unless you’ve been in his position
Unless you yourself have been there
You just can’t know the effect of
Hopelessness, defeat and despair.
So, don’t talk down to him
Just try to understand
And if you are able
Give him a helping hand.
Being angry is a luxury
When you’re bottom of the heap
When all you have in life
Is to eat, work and sleep.
Leave the horse at the trough
And in time it may drink
Treat a man with respect and dignity
And in time he may think.
She came dancing into church with sixty-three-inch heels.
Wearing enough make up to camouflage two pigs and a cow.
Many of us older ones were annoyed; our eyes flipped like peels.
Some young gullible men had mouths that were open; they were yelling wow!
How dare she come into church looking like she loves herself!
Yelled some of the mean ones who had sat long on a shelf.
And these idiots are acting like she is true and fine!
They do not realize she should toe the line!
The young minister looked as smitten as the rest of them.
He suggested they sing “Old Rugged Cross” a hymn.
Then he introduced them to the arrogant woman so keen.
She was his wife, shocking to those who had been totally mean.
I AM GALAXY IN THIS MAGIC UNIVERSE~
ATOMS SMOOZING, KNOW WHERE THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO GO
THE SCARS ON MY BODY CALL THEM AND THEY TOE THE LINE
ONE BY ONE, NEW YET OLD INTO THEIR ASSIGNED PLACES
KNOWING JUST WHERE TO GO.
A NOTE OF CONSCIOUSNESS UNITS SINGING THRU MY BODY,
NOT BOTHERING TO ASK JUST WHERE,
THEY GO FREELY WITH UNCANNY ACCURACY!
MAGIC TINY, INTELLIGENT BEINGS COOPERATING
TO BUILD MY BODY WITH MEMORY OF A PLACE
THEY HAD NEVER BEEN.
MY INNER SELF RECOGNIZES ITSELF IN THE COSMOS OF MY OWN MIND.
I HAVE TO TRUST, TRUST, TRUST THAT MY "SELF" KNOWS JUST
WHAT IT IS DOING! AND...IT DOES!!!
LOVE HOLDS IT ALL TOGETHER!

Joe Biden is starting to whine
The Democrats won't toe the line
They can not agree
That we should all see
A politician has a spine
In our father's house, you were doing fine,
but you did not want to toe the line.
Father, you said, 'give me what is mine.'
Leaving home sent a jolt of joy up your spine.
No more scenes of servants grazing kine,
or picking grapes off the vine.
Feasting on choice cuts with the chine,
sporting with women, and drinking wine,
living in a ritzy ranch on the banks of the Rhine.
You have many friends who love to dine,
but you are too naive to know that is a bad sign.
Poof-poverty pounces and pierces like a tine,
now broke, homeless, hungry, you start to pine.
To earn money, you take a job feeding swine.
At nights you lie on the streetside and whine,
thinking of the servants and how well they dine.
It is okay, you ragamuffin to regret and repine.
Get up my brother and toward home your feet incline.
The sight of you will make our father’s face shine.
Toe the line, why?
Who decides I should toe the line
Sometimes the line becomes indistinct
And fades into oblivion
So it is impossible to see where the line is
Hey wait, that's not right you nuggets
A “toe” is a body part, “tow” is for towing
Like dragging a vehicle
Instead of by people
My understanding of English is overflowing
It was the time to say our goodbyes
To turn and walk away
We thought it was fine, not to toe the line
And we had to pay
It was the firts glance, the thought og a chance
If we got found out, well OK
Now I'm alone and sat by the phone
Wondering what to say
If I rung you, would you want me to
Or just to keep away
Were you sad, when we had what we had
But circumstances came in the way
Please let me know as I still love you so
and think of you every day
To prove we haven’t given up,
We order things online
Since objects meant for future use
Imply that we are fine.
A sweet dessert, a case of beer
Or scotch or gin or wine
Can elevate our kitchen meals
To ones at which we dine.
Some nitrile gloves, a spiffy mask
Of chic and cool design
Remind us that to safety
While in style we can incline.
A buzzing insect’s gotten in?
To Amazon, assign
The sending of a swatter
So that fly will toe the line.
For every penny that we spend
Is proof that we still pine
For a future that our purchases
May somehow thus define.
