"May, queen of blossoms, and fulfilling flowers,
what pretty music shall we charm the hours?"
~ Lord Edward Thurlow
Lily of the valley
charming me
Little hawthorns blossom
Look awesome
Lilacs, irises bloom
No more gloom
Nature's music ranting
Enchanting
Exhilarating scene
May's the queen.
"May the queen of blossoms, and fulfilling flowers, what pretty music shall we charm the hours?" - Lord Edward Thurlow,
You hold spring beauty in your pouch,
Kangaroo-style; yes, queen of blossoms,
You weave a tapestry of bright colors.
Oh, your sunflowers; they crane their necks
To follow the bright afternoon sun.
Your blooming chrysanthemums, arresting;
Flirting with butterflies and hummingbirds.
Your h e a l i n g rain overflow my cup
With gratitude; you stay dressed up in green.
I hear birds tweet their mirth. I love thee, May.
May, queen of blossoms, and fulfilling flowers, what pretty music shall we charm the hours?" - Lord Edward Thurlow

May, queen of blossoms, month of flower blooms
With medley of hues and scents dispel glooms
Sweet entwining between spring of rebirth
And looming season of manhood on earth
When the world awakens in vibrant green
When gentle warmth creates a joyous scene
When robins sing their lovely songs on trees
And the cheeks are caressed by gentle breeze
I chant your glory with quills of my pen
For showering hope and joy on all men.

The jazzy arched blossoms with vibrant hues
Bouquet boutiques and the scent they diffuse
The terrain seems as an embroidered piece
God's stretched hanky as the Eden of peace
Nonchalant vibes of nature's musicians
Organize a dais for auditions
The carolling tunes make it a dreamland
All become a part of this music band
The redolence and the trills in full swing
Forging May stellar as the heart of spring

“May, queen of blossoms, and fulfilling
flowers, what pretty music shall we charm
the hours” – Lord Edward Thurlow
Lucent sky turns to blue canvas of silk,
buds burst colors in fresco of flowers,
designing regal lattice of grandeur.
Petals exude luster of spectral hues,
as fragrance flows with the rippling zephyr
on fairy wings of floating butterflies.
Spring sings to the music of balmy breeze,
joy suffuses me in mesmeric May.
May, queen of blossoms, and fulfilling flowers,
what pretty music shall we charm the hours?—Lord Edward Thurlow
Plucked are the petals one by one
daisy, dewy from misty May morn sun
Oh impermanence, I can’t envision
whimsy game of fate’s curious call
whilst whispering, does he love me or not
passionately, madly, or even at all
fields of flowers plucked, forevers forgot
Sun-faced floral, to what extent his heart?
Assuaged asway by unwavering love,
I refrain from tearing petals apart
"May, queen of blossoms, and fulfilling flowers, what pretty music shall we charm the hours?" - Lord Edward Thurlow
May is greeted with blooms bathed in dew
She's crowned with a diadem new
All around is seen spring's sweet presence
Bulbs have sprung back with a vengeance
Butterflies flit round blooms of red and white
Serving all eyes a delightful feast
Earth is clad in silky emerald dress
Amid flowers, bees restlessly buzz
Birds hop from branch to branch, a happy throng
Pouring delight through their dulcet song
"May, queen of blossoms, and fulfilling flowers, what pretty music shall we charm the hours?" - Lord Edward Thurlow
Love me like an aching rose of May.
Undress the music beneath petals,
while my soul sips musky dews
of lilac dreams and velvet breeze,
sensing your scent upon my skin;
for I taste the unspoken want
in the hieroglyphics of your heart
as I turn to the lyrics of spring.
O moonlight, stay with me, I crave you,
like breathless flowers thirsting for rain...

Quote 4. "May, queen of blossoms, and fulfilling flowers, what pretty music shall we charm the hours?" - Lord Edward Thurlow
*******************
May brings a breath of brisk bloom,
soft sprigs sing their hymns to doom.
Her petals plait the spans in gold,
and the warm air cast a charming hold.
She graces the day with limpid light,
a whispered tune, and the swamps ignite.
With sky-foam drift and meadow's gleam,
she waltzes shakily into a dream.
