the sky smiles as it watches us
dance in the light of a silver moon
on the veranda of an infinite cosmos~ 
the only way to make a star

dance in the light of a silver moon,
to music of the spheres as it falls
into a symphony of our poem 

on the veranda of an infinite cosmos
where time is the choreographer 
of tangos and tragedies~

the only only way to make a star 
is with each spark of love we fling 
into night's lengthening shadow.

 autumn breathes umber blizzards ~
  crimson cloudbursts whorl

gusts of gold tangos
 jitterbug on orange swirls ~
  gales of scarlet squalls

outbursts of amber
 ride on russet fandangos ~
  vermillion downpours

nature's orchid ochrestra

summer salsa sauce
tangos through tall twisting trees
wind winds her heart harp

Let's Tango

Little waves of light, reflecting darkest night,
Embracing shadows, so alive – feelings to recite.

Little wonders, growing, soft and silent, flowing,
Coloring hearts, so graceful – amazing, mind blowing.

Little whispers, rising, fragile but so energizing,
Breathing hope through the moments, - it’s simply mesmerizing.

Little hearts stirred, by music from the spirit, melodies heard,
Tempting the heart to listen, - beyond the night, to each word.

Little lives, healed by believing, never doubting or grieving,
Assured of the hopes they’re aware of – miracles so relieving.

Little poetic designs, stories penetrating, on heartfelt glories, 
Softening doubts and reminding us why – there are many allegories.

Little touches of hope, inspirations to help hearts to cope,
Sometimes life can feel more a maze, - something of a zoetrope.

Little dances burning with desire, taking spirits higher and higher,
While even the nights feed the passions, - feels like catching fire.

Little tangos and waltzes, dancing, bringing excitement so entrancing,
Blazing through the lives of those who see – these feelings are worth chancing!

A Kaleidoscopic Sky

Earth's mysteries—swirling in the sky.
Heaven is comely with lemon meringue.
Vaporizing clouds are dulcet and colored.
Cinnamon light was shed on my shoulders.

Peering onto the horizon of a waning sun.
Beethoven and Mozart split into the ether.
Ruby tangos fuchsia in an outburst of ecstasy.
Fetching hues of elixir flash and flare.

Obsidian clouds yield a rumble of thunder.
Cumulus clouds coal-colored clusters.
In erratic black seas, akin to rogue boats.
Thunderclaps imbue a shiny sheen.

A cyan-blue sky casts her limbs outward.
Soaring saffron butterflies and kites.
A cloud of endorphins shrouds the world.
Amid raucous mirth and glamor lullabies.

The sky's evocative color palette.
sparked by the effervescent moonlight.
delightful days laced with zeal and zest
amid a kaleidoscope hallucination.

Joy of Blooms

A season filled with the joy of blooms
 Dance of the daffodils adorned in gold 
 Fragrance of lilac soon takes hold
 Nature displays its colorful costumes

 The garden is filled with flowery perfumes
 Glowing buttercups so lovely to behold
 A season filled with the joy of blooms

 There are tangos aplenty in nature's ballrooms
 Butterflies swirl around a marigold
 A sunflower's gaze will soon unfold
 As a cluster of flowers burst forth like plumes

The milk of human kindness

Why did you not love me mother?
Why did you demean me father?
Why does dusk’s fading aura not bid me good night?

Storms of Fall Splendor

Whirlwinds of splendor jitterbug in back streets,
Autumn’s song breathes in a blizzard of umber,
Downpours of vermillion create flushed retreats
Crimson cloudbursts, impetuous as thunder.

Tempests magenta scuttle on winding roads
While squalls of cerise in warm copper whorls twirl
Gusts of red garnet blow across the crossroads
And, like gales of laughter, orange giggles swirl.

Russet storm winds blow in dazzling fandangos 
Auburn firestorms spin in scarlet enchantment
Ethereal fogs spin gusts of gold tangos 
Flurries of sunlight – autumnal event.

Showers of glory chant in mistrals of red
Twisters of ruby across fields and moraines
Outbursts of amber, maroon brouhahas spread,
On waiting roads, sidewalks, avenues and lanes.

Panagiota

Panagiota is a whirling Galaxie
with her blue thunder words
a spirit like black diamond lightning..
She bruises the clueless and ignorant
not out of hate but of love
not with a brass knuckled fist
but with pearled wisdom
layered around grains of 
life's relentless grit.

Her words are not fanciful or minty...
their always stained with the talon of truth,
She crushes the weak-minded and the oblivious
with her Olympian soul and rose scented boots -
She fears nothing and never spares the rod
while weaving a spirited ink to her parchment heart.
Atop enchanted moonbeams
she lances pit vipers and tangos with God.

I stand in awe as nature wonders
Of raucous waves and roiling thunders
Rushing streams released as winter thaws
As nature wonders I stand in awe.

Spring awakens, her heartbeat quickens
A pulse of sap through bare boughs thickens
Fields of daffodils reawaken

Summer tangos in a seashore dance
Beneath clear skies of azure romance
Neon sunsets in shades of mango
In a seashore dance summer tangos.

Fall swirls in orange red fantasies
Enchanting dances of phantasy
Mischievous breezes spin into whirls

Winter dreams of seeds in gestation
In the sweet hush of hibernation,
Silent cadence in snowy extremes,

Rowdy windstorms dip and glide
Dowdy mornings step aside
Cloudy caches swing and sway
Dowdy drizzles sent far away
The sharp air softens then sings
A wink, a smile – mischief of spring.

You Make My Heart Sing

Its all you Spring with your patter sounds of raindrop 
and your clear cut droplets, of refresh-petrichor  !
Inside this scented garden you immerse and thrive, 
through channels of irrigative pleasures, a  flower grows; 
Daffodil waltzes and tulip lip tangos 
Violet kisses in a garden ballroom
April birdlings nipping and pecking    
Dahlias and fuchsia hollyhocks, rock and rolling round the clock
square dance petunias doing the Scottish fling

jointly under the spell of love
knowing unforgettable desires
long lasting this will be

memories of that one fine day
nothing compares to our start
one glance one whisper at a time
placing us where we should be
quick stepping with tangos too
rightfully hand and hand

swaying silently under stars
thoughts of us softly glide
unlike any other connection
venturing enchanting adventures
