Sun slowly descends, and the world turns monochrome, like a black and white drawing on the Creator’s easel.  I patiently wait for night with its renewing spirit. Nightfall serves as a metaphorical curtain closure, while dawn symbolizes  a daily reopening, with the birds serenading harmoniously on cue.

dusk whispers, night falls,
shadows stretch across the sky—
day’s breath vanishes

dawn’s silent embrace
cradles the fragile and bold
a promise of hope

Stardust Symphony

I am anchored when I am a garnet,
The mineral topaz when I shine.
A midnight fantasy of moonstone,
This precious gem's spirit is mine.
 
Emerald ideas are proliferating,
Within the gardens of my brain.
As opalescent moods still fluctuate,
With indeterminate strain.
 
I illuminate, akin to a glass prism,
When elation continues to rise.
A Sapphire flame symbolizes justice,
Increasingly irritates my eyes.
 
When shadows start to thicken,
I don the obsidian stones' grace.
And allow the illumination of jasper,
Restore equilibrium in my living space.

Each diamond carries a whisper,
A truth that I have been able to flow—
This even caused fractures in the facets.
Still catching the dawn glow. 

I evolved from stardust,
With spiral galaxies to approve.
Should you perceive that sparkle—
You are stardust, companion, and groove.

A milestone symbolizes 
Bridges unite 
With no fight 
Brings people together 
Overgreen pastors 
Live in the country

How We Are Meant To Learn From Each Other

Our memories will be the roots
In our strong yet delicate foundation.
Our talks will be our parachutes
As we slowly fall into infatuation.

Our fall outs will be rationalized away
As we become each other's voices of reason.
Our voices will soothe us without sway
In our soft-spoken tones, without confusion.

Our individual strengths will shine through
Each and every time we speak or write.
Our hearts will heal and grow on cue
As we learn how to make this all right.

Our memories are the growing roots
Of the tree that symbolizes our romance.
Our souls were meant to overcome all disputes,
Because we are fated to learn this dance.

Reach Down and Touch the Dirt
How far will you take it?
How bad do you want it?
Work hard at all things you do.
With strong work ethics, just follow through.
Reach down and touch the dirt.
Be open minded and alert.
You have to suffer to grow.
Put in the work, be headstrong, let go.
Pick up the iron and never look back.
With no remorse symbolizes the bad.
Become the storm in the dark.
With potential, get ready walking through the door.
Be a warrior, so get to work.
Breathe in the fire and strive for more.
Be one with the machine and metal.
Go beyond your means tomorrow.
With discipline be sharp, be inspired.
Have an appetite of destruction.
Stand on the asphalt, be dedicated on every turn.
Next to your silhouette leave nothing behind.
Go beyond your limits and reach the sky.

To My Children and Grandchildren See The Cross In The Right Way

The Cross is such a simple little thing.
The Place of death for Heaven's King!
We should give God thanks daily for the Cross.
The Alter He sacrificed Jesus on for the lost.
He says, "No one does right, we all do wrong!"
Death and Hell for eternity is where all belong.
We all are guilty, by our own choice.
Doing as we please and ignoring God's voice.
Learning how to hear Him takes some time.
Because He speaks through impressions in our mind.
When we disobey Him, we're cursed by "Sin!"
We are all infected, this battle no one wins!
It makes us lie, steal, kill and destroy!
It begins manifestation in little girls and boys!
It causes all God's precious human beings.
To rebel, deny Him and treat each other mean.
When we want to do the right thing at times we won't.
When we know we should forgive, we simply don't.
It's a horrible, deathly, spiritual disease!
That makes us all do as we please!
Who can save us from this fate?
The answer is found in Romans chapter eight.
Ask God to help you to understand,
What you need to know about His plan.
From then on every cross you'll see.
You'll know it symbolizes you've been set free!

symbolizes my fondness for you.
You can try, but you can't count them;
they multiplied as our bond grew.

The immense depth of your brown eyes,
reflects my endless love for you.
Profound and limitless, just like the sky
never ending, never fading, so true. 

But that naughty, unruly hair of yours
definitely shows your strong nature.
We dispute, sometimes make loud roars.
We try better, we care, and mature.

Ultimately, the proof of our kinship
is surely evident from your lips.
You are unique from your toes to your fingertips,
However, your lips are still my signature strips.

2025 Year of the Wood Snake

Wonderful attributes are associated with the Chinese New Year
The Wood snake brings wisdom, creativity, intuition and growth
She symbolizes renewal, transformation, patience and understanding
The snake’s major element is Yang fire
Yang fire is associated with the sun
Thus, bringing these attributes into Year 2025
Aboveboard, selfless, cordial, ambitious, righteous, foresighted

The snake hour is from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
This is when you might be the most creative or ambitious.
In China the snake is considered a little dragon.
Shy, retiring, a non-show off.
I think 2025 is represented well by the wood snake
I am eager to see what she does with us.

Love is the verbs blossom as roses scented reserve suite line composes,
Love sails an odyssey of Greek ships thousands save Helen impatient lips, 
Steve's ebony Wonders love can be, Paul's ivory flights pearl dove at sea,
Seldom ways part transcend sources art, tell them swayed heart mend love courses chart.

September lights love,  hate takes a break, Mom's gift from above, mindless to hate,
September's secrets shine on a hill, with fear nigh, sitting high, calm and still,
September birth joys, both girls and boys, proud parents enjoys, hugs, cards and toys,
September prayers lifted Heaven bound, sermons o'er births, gospel voices sound.

Change symbolizes indecision, strange one's loyalty begs a question,
Ere birth month began, hard to defend, trend burden ascend, hopes then descend,
Birth month holds heart and soul wondrously, ops birth alter month finger murky, 
My sweet Lord, hold my hand , let me stand, Christ my Lord, September, God's right hand,
Lord Amen ...

It’s a bittersweet truth about life
