Memorial Day
So many sacrifices
Known and unknown
Soldiers, veterans, marines, and troops
Going above and beyond
To protect
Some have passed away
A moment of silence ??
We honor you today
To all of your families
A silent prayer is said
Thanks so much for all you did
Sacrifices for our country , what does that really mean?
"giving up personal desires, comfort, and even one's life for the greater good, prioritizing the well-being of the nation and its citizens. This can include military service, supporting national initiatives, or even simply demonstrating patriotism and civic duty. "
Unity ??, Togetherness
Helping one another
Forming a relationship
Looking out for each other
Brotherhood, Sisterhood
Being together through the bad and the good
I understand
Acts of service
Service of Acts
Learning the value of things that have been done
Knowing that we shall overcome
All of the obstacles
All of our fears
Memorial Day is here
Memories are what they left behind
To mankind
They took an oath
To do their best
To be set up for nothing but success
So many have lost their lives ??
This is sad
Shortlived
A whole life ahead
They bled for our country
The blue white and red
It's more than just a flag
It symbolizes
well; red symbolizes hardiness and valor, white symbolizes purity and innocence, and blue represents vigilance, perseverance and justice.
That is just a few
The dignity and pride
That it holds
Has no control
Over all that has been taken from it
Some people have sucumb for it
Thanks so much for all that was done
In America and taken even overseas
Thanks for being all you can be
I salute ?? to all
To all I salute
Thanks for all the opportunities given to generations to come
Finding a way out
To help
Trying to create a clear path for yourself
I appreciate all youve done
For years before us and years to come
In memory of all who have fallen
Thanks for your service and walking in your calling
I will forever be grateful
For all
You did when duty called.
