Breathe spilled like bone

Ariana shrugged facing Josh’s mocking clap
the stringy harmonica rang acrobatically on the streetlights.
He handed her a firebomb,
eyes sharp as vinegar.
They ran across the hot asphalt,
watching the brass kite rise.
Both caught in the whirlpool of the maze,
 they guided the trumpet,
mandolin filling the air, sinking into the smokehouse.

Her jacket flared, body pitching like a haystack, cracked like an explosion.
Cigar smoke swindled
trembling hands at the phone’s text crime. Tightened waist, ribs vacant
Her throat rasped open,
gasping. Stomps flew, trumpets lit,
feathers popped, and breath spilled like bone in the dusk.

stop gift cards

Gift cards, can it be stopped
How the swindlers begin a nice letter understand
The problem you have because of the pension that does not allow you to hire a person to help
Yes, they are so helpful, they can help if you send
Them gift cards instead of cash, they will help
It starts with a sum of cards at a value of 1000 euros, so you send the cards and, not wait they need more gift cards to cover the cost. Ok, so you send them the card and they promise to send you a packet with money
So you wait, but then they want more gift cards at a value of hundred euros, by now even a dick head understands he has been swindled
The next step is to alert the law, but the swindlers have flown away leaving no trace. They even enlist your own family to rob you of your savings
Money set aside to pay for doctors and home help
And so on

Premium MemberSpare Me the Laughter, Please

    Antisemitism is back in vogue
thanks to a world gone rogue

Some say it’s a fairly recent disease
      spare me the laughter please

It’s been around ever since Patriarchal Days
infecting all of history, an age-old malaise …

Why did Jacob flee Esau, journeying to Haran
Esau would have murdered Jacob, had he not gone

And who did Jacob encounter at journey’s end
none other than Laban, at first a ‘good friend’

Laban invited Jacob to stay for free for thirty days
though he eventually swindled his nephew in so many ways

Lied to him again and again, switching his bride on his wedding night
endlessly changing his wages and working conditions – slight after slight

Finally told his nephew: Your wives are mine, as are your sheep
expecting Jacob would bend to slavery without so much as a peep

But to Laban, Jacob never once did bow… instead he fled
then challenged Esau’s 400 men, backing them down…

Murderous Esau, freedom-denying Laban, cooked up twin recipes
for legions of antisemites down through the ages, into our century

spent his life thieving and stealing

platitudeness

the platitudinizes

I have woken up to the world we inhabit
so, much double-speak, self-interest, egotism
and tame excuses make me physically ill
For many, it is about getting the upper hand
how to lure money out of the innocent
The law is ordered, and the guilty are often
forgiven by those they swindled.
We see through them, they are not willing
to help anyone unless it is beneficial for
them, then demonstrate their kindness
so the whole world can see their greatness
there is a greedy content to their action.
we have lived long enough we see phoniness
the glittering prizes, the hollow press
uncritically reporting on events that are based
on lies by the self-serving elite.

Why Can'T My Mirror Understand

Why can’t my mirror understand
                               Just what I really need
I look and look and hope and hope
                                No matter how I plead

I still am seeing what I am
Not what I want to see
When hair was of a chestnut brown
The way it used to be

When skin aroused a velvet touch
And not a map of crepe
With eyelids smiling, opened wide
                                Without adhesive tape

This mirror cost me quite a bit
                         That magic shop downtown
Had promised gaze of pure delight
                            Not this depressing frown

I feel so swindled, yes I do
And here’s what else I think
That just in case, I signed that check
                                 With disappearing ink

The Internet

As information is sourced, we knowledge add.
Entertainment is accessed by each ipad.
The cost of research is by the net reduced,
whilst addiction to **** is by it induced.

Banking transactions are by it made easy,
so does the convenience of a shopping spree.
We conveniently send mails by speed of light,
and connect to old buddies beyond our sight.

Its flash of lightening promotes the breaking news,
so does its ill wind the fake ones for our views.
It mocks distance with commercial activities,
and lures perverts to their sexual proclivities.

It does our world flatten with mobile services,
its not by distance hindered for con men's vices,
neither will it the distant swindled protect.
It does the deeds of distant bullies perfect.

Transnational love has by it been produced,
when love birds electronically are introduced.
Global link that binds us all like a cobweb;
Old and young alike, each enslaved by the web.

The Truth

Honesty right!
You wanna know the truth?
Well, you've swindled my heart
Yet still invigorating through my chest
Anything beyond, I never thought of
When I first spoke to you thereof

it took a day suprisingly
Dots connected
Cabinets reshuffled,
And everything was Rosey.
You've touched me, without laying a hand on me.

you sure you aren't made of fire?
Course you've let me catch the heat
The truth right!
Well, I am suffocated by the drug you've let me consume
I am addicted, and all I wanna do is presume
And All the love buried from heart breaks, You've exumed

I wanna stop but the ecstasy is holding me by the neck
I can't stop thinking of the high if gets me.
The joy it fills me,
The empty spaces it closes in me,
The home is has suddenly brought in me.

Corners let me cut and the ice let me break.
To the ground I hope an ear is kept.
The truth right!
Well, the truth is I have fallen in love with you so deep
And wanna keep on falling

No More This Time

The eyes of mild dawn on the body of sky
No nose to smell
No ear to hear
No tongue to speak and taste
No hand to touch
No leg to walk away
Just has open breast where heart is playing
A divine ancient game

White rose water on the field
Fertile land in contented embracing
Watering, planting; Watering, planting
No fertilizer comes to interfere
No locust comes to deter far
Yet, swindled all in the imperishable air
Luster of eyes in diminution fair,
In blind, deaf and dumb gyre

No more this time-
Within the blink of eye
Sleeping is wrecked into smile
World finds the sweet child

Were We Not Enough

Father why do you love these
imperfect humans that deny your goodness
You show them mercy as they spit it
back in your face and still you show them love
Faithfully we have honoured you
obeyed ever command
None us were tempted to join
the Lucifer band
For eons we have served
but still your eyes stray to your project
They drowned the waters you gave them, the skies have come unglued
The beasts have slowly swindled
the grass has nearly gone
but still you forgive them
and offer them our home

Premium MemberThe Broken Locket

I espied her regard and deemed her depth.
She requested that I "Hold this for me."
I dare you, do not let it fall on earth.
It's gotten loose to point at agony.

The locket to my meek heart was broken.
Stomped upon, as such dealt using disdain.
Used amiss and bared to prime misspoken.
Spoiled, as well as swindled of money gain.

I flashed the largely adorable grin.
She looked into my eyes and smiled softly.
Her charming grin belied her truth within.
"I'm different from those," said utterly.

I'm a slack ocean rolling sea to sea.
Now in your arms, I'll never roam again free.

with selfish goals and swindled wins

that please a cheap, self-centered one!
