Were We Not Enough

Father why do you love these imperfect humans that deny your goodness You show them mercy as they spit it back in your face and still you show them love Faithfully we have honoured you obeyed ever command None us were tempted to join the Lucifer band For eons we have served but still your eyes stray to your project They drowned the waters you gave them, the skies have come unglued The beasts have slowly swindled the grass has nearly gone but still you forgive them and offer them our home
