When we’re swimming, it’s kind of a sin
showing too much of some parts of skin.
So please do be kind.
Make sure your behind
doesn’t bulge from the swimsuit you’re in

I opened the door and stepped out.....into nowhere!
looking both bright and cheerful, in my blue swimwear,
smell was fresh, sky was blue but I stepped on thin air,
Thirty feet of steep drop, I wish I was elsewhere!!
flag hoist fluttered below me, pointing at my rear,
panic stricken said “God! save me! I have no spare!“
gathering pace I went down, pray land on soft chair,
twenty seconds of fly time, best eagles wont dare!
tried to use my arms like wings, wish I had a pair,
ladies watching screamed, like I was a grizzly bear!
Three windows down, hoist caught me, cannot tell you where....
six weeks of groin pain, was out of medical care!
Back again on the fourth floor, my wife did not care!
Said she with nasty smile,”Next time please take the stair!!”

Must dos' are the things that we must do without having to be told
I have a 'short list' that makes it easy to remember for a 'forgetful person'
Never-never be forgetful of certain birthdays, Valentines, and Anniversaries
'Do Lists' were taught to me by a loving elderly businessman and friend
Failure to place value on and prioritize important things are not an option
'Under the circumstances' does not always qualify for an excuse by some
Let the truth be told, even with some flexibility, forgetfulness can be costly
Neglect is also pricey and in some cases, it may even be a criminal offense
Escaping responsibilities may be the verdict rendered if we are not mindful
Swimwear is a common-sense adjustment when winter and spring have ended
So, likewise, I must learn to make every sensible adjustment for vital matters

remember the coating of brutish brandy
you slugged back without a whisper
the whites of your eyes like glaciers
and i smiled and let the warmness
sit on my tongue then slowly roll
down my beating throat, with
a rush of laughter and you so red
remember how she belted out
her performance, joining hands
with the dessert of joyful voices
the ship became her opera house
she presented her gift to us
as her husband horrified
by lack of payment to his pocket
remember, dear, the rocking
as we’re swept by the dashing cold
topside, my swimwear wrap whipping
barely kept by my grip. my hands
busy but my insides joyous
as we capture every morsel bit
on high seas adventure
later your lips, heartily pressed
in my memory book, freely
sliding over mine as if you’ve
never worked a day in your life

Just wanting to lose some winter time size 12 blues
and come down one size, maybe two
is hard to do when one gets older
my "Audrey" stomach growing defensively bolder,
Saying "feed me, feed me" as I pass by the grocery store
stopping to shop "Audrey" starts to annoy me even more
growling like a fierce lioness defending ones cubs
I hold my stomach as if to smother and give it a nudge,
The women shoppers around me can relate and nod
knowing that its swimwear season like were peas in a pod
whereas going down the cookie aisle is like being in a gauntlet
the oatmeal raisin and chocolate chip cookies reach out as if to taunt us,
With "Audrey" becoming embarrassingly loud and brazen
I spy a little sample booth which is a heavenly haven
as I gulp the sample down as least for now "Audrey" is slightly satisfied
until homeward bound pass by all the fast food places on my drive...

The feature this month is swimwear,
An answer to many a prayer:
Men shell out good loot
To eye a swimsuit,
Preferring the babe was all bare.

Dam! I had trouble fulfilling what I wanted to do in the previous last hour,
All was going well until a few minutes were left and then it went sour.
69 times I slept with a girl (that’s my zodiac sign)
One that didn’t take the pill
Me bit were looking like a crispy pork roast
And all I got was a multiple dose
Of tv, vd, 3v dvd
So, let me see, what shall I do?
Yes! I’ll put on a mask of Osama Bin Laden
And go on tv and say, “You missed Obama, I’m chillin’ in yo back garden.”
Or walk around naked with my rhino horn exposed to the air
And tell everyone it’s the new Armani swimwear
No! I’ll connect every door in me house with an electrical wire
And watch my wife jump of a change to my every desire
Ooh! I’ll go to the most expensive restaurant and eat my fill
Then pay them for it with a twenty-six dollar bill
Dam! I’m paranoid now, Is it my last hour or everyone else too?
I think I wasted me time so for the last minutes I’ll go to the loo...
