Genie In The Bottle

The genie possesses infinite wishes
& is only contained by the bottle
The bottle is but an illusion full of hollow
dreams posing as aspirations
waiting to be attained or fulfilled
Matter maintains a shape conducive to
thoughts believed to be real
but only acts according to strength
of the will
It is as a man thinketh so says Proverbs 23
which means the power has been
given to and resides within you
& me
So mote it be says the genie abiding
by the law of the one
that sees everything & created
what you saw
Know that you inhabit a bottle made to
walk & talk according to wishes
that supercedes all lies & inherited
superstitions
Don't let the world rub you the wrong way
but instead allow your inner
genie to be free
to enjoy life & its short days
As you can see we are both genie & the bottle
in many ways
full of wishes we'd like to see granted
before time has its say

Blacker Than Black

There is evil that offends evil.
There is black that is blacker than black.
There is fault-free blood that is a running river.
There is inhumanity that supercedes insanity.
How shall we call it, write it, remember it?
Putin is its name.

Not for what I have done,
but what you've done for me,
you love me in deed.

Not for who I now am,
but for who I will be,
your love intercedes.

Not for my blemishes,
but in spite of all them,
your love supercedes.

You refine me with fire
like a purified gem.
You love me indeed.

And Now

standing at ground zero
before and after existing
dually
until time supercedes
now I have life
without her

I'M Going To Go Live On Mount Shasta

Well, I've never seen Sasquatch or any E.T.s
But I'm going to spend as much time as I please
With my maps and my compass amongst all the trees
And the caves that descend into dark mysteries.

There are stories out there I've been hearing for years
That would feed into many of people's worst fears.
But the way that I see it, the thrill of the chase
Supercedes any chance I'll end in a bad place.

So I'm driving this weekend from Southern L.A.
To the mountain that's hundreds of miles away.
If it turns out my car's been abandonned somewhere
Then I prob'ly wound up in some predator's lair.

If they send a search team there's no hope I'll be found
Though they look over millions of square feet of ground
For if even I haven't been beamed far away
I'll be hiding up there in my new home to stay.

Remember this paradox here:
All is not what it may seem to be;
There are those that stifle good cheer;
And cast slur on spontaneity.

Stupidity has no expiry date.
Imagination supercedes knowledge;
Transcend anxiety as love bestows fate;
Success is ever a sharp double edge!

The Dawn

We all have a tendancy to fade
Becoming marred in a false reflection
An image that pretends though it is us who makes all of the effort
An image false in its merit-
     Therefore meritless
Slipping beyond the wonder that supercedes contentment
That borders on allusion and disenfranchisement
Though we want it, wanting it pure
So that soon even its fantasy doesn't exist
So that soon we've faded away into oblivion.

What God Says About You-Rhyme 1

What God says about you are all statements of truth,

Satan will lie on you to make you feel destitute.

Here is one statement that you can take with you

To suit your emotional and devotional needs for your life that's true:

God's opinion of you supercedes the man's opinion of you.

Satan will get into man and never give credit where credit is due

Remember God made you and what God says about you are all statements of truth.

Dead Leaves

Call it the strangest notion.
  Call it the sweetest sublime.
Life is a bitter teacher,
  With bitter ways.
In spite of all your wisdom,
All the intellect you may attain,
    She will scar you.
Scar your mind.
  Scratch your dick.
Scrape your knees while you pray.
No knowledge can defend you from her.
Fill yourself with yourself.
Defend yourself within the definition of life you have grasped.
    She will conquer you.
Life allows no pity.
  Life requires no shame.
A life devoid of living has no one else to blame.
Life luminous in its essence,
  Warm in its embrace,
Is the reality which supercedes all the definitions its patrons create to contain it.
Yet you walk without moving
Across a world you can’t see
    With constant sweating,
      Endless labor
        To buy what is free.
You groom the forest
By stealing the roots of the trees,
    And all that remains
Is your legacy of dead leaves.
