Say divers, he likes to pose
and for photo's, not really shy
but home he's staying close
a give, take, type of guy.
He cant swim so very well
a marine body guard, some tell
butterfly fish, he knows & chases
with his orangey, stripy , faces.
His host depends on him
to circulate oxygen
they return the favor back
not sting , of fish, attack.
Some species cant live without
biologist write no doubt
his Sea Anemone , protective wall
Nemo film,
l love it all.

rainbows at night
crashing waves in the sky
hearing by sight
as elephants float by
upside down lightning
and blue whale size mice
a cute teddy that’s frightening
rolls a one sided dice
under a stripy square sun
we have death without decay
eating cars in a bun
maps not showing the way
building houses with cakes
leisurely walks to the moon
watching juggling by snakes
slurping trees from a spoon
straight hair that’s curled
and understood mysteries
a fair equal world
aah, impossibilities

O what a time we had,
we had a time of it didn't we,
you in your stripy flouncy dress
and pink kneed splendor,
and I dragging a foot behind you,
as callow and unrisen as
a half-baked pudding.
We between us
had the blindly brilliant knowledge,
of everything not worth knowing.
We had textbooks and crayons,
to color bluer an already blue sky.
Our heads held high,
in the fancy hats of headlong youth.
God, I loved the smell of you,
not your dabs of perfume,
but the buttercup musk of you.
That afternoon I played rugby,
while you watched your bruised hero,
galumph and totter all over a muddy field.
God was kind to us wasn’t he,
he made every chicken dinner sunny-side-up,
he tinted our eyes with a simple wonder
for a while,
didn’t he?
Can I love you again, just for a moment,
love us both in this dumb poem,
that I hope speaks for everyone
at least once.

Night wrinkles on dim hangers;
bell-bottom pants
two-toned platform shoes
a wide `kipper' tie.
In a pocket
a crumpled Kodachrome -
hot pants and velvet neck-choker.
‘Who is she?’
This closet is a time machine
I exited decades ago.
Dreaming hands part a frilled dress shirt
from its sky-blue tuxedo.
A stripy tank-top.
dances badly to ‘Brown Sugar’
damn you Mike Jagger
you created a monster.
There’s a rum and coke stain
floating like a ghost
through fading threads.
Time, now exhausted,
falls back onto a pillow
the wardrobe trembles like a Tardis
then disappears
into its blue police box
where every garb ever worn
still fits.
Who are you?
I am a hairy hippy, I glitter,
and Jesus Christ is still a Super Star.
She’s a sexy girl who won’t let me sleep.
Wire hangers rattle in the dark
a metallic laughter.
Nerves jiggle restless legs.

I sprouted from a small seed planted firmly in the ground
With refreshing drinks of water my size it can confound!
My long legs must be supported, or I could stoop and bend
I love being out of doors where the sun is my best friend!
I’m a great sun worshipper and my face follows the sun
I tower over small plants, being tall is so much fun
On sunny days I tan my face; my seeds turn golden brown
Small children look up at me, hoping that my seeds drop down!
I’ve been told that I’m the tallest bloom in the flower bed
Some think I’m conceited, I’ve got such a giant head
Birds attack my face when they peck my tasty stripy seeds
It doesn't bother me at all, I’ll cater for their needs!

Yes, I remembered my glasses
I even remembered to dust them
before I put them on
so my eyes don’t tear all over my face
from my allergies.
I remembered my pads
so I don’t leak in public
so I don’t poo in public when I cough.
Into my mouth went my new teeth
which I hate as they don’t fit right.
My ears were carefully placed so
I wouldn’t forget them.
I like them a lot
As I can hear what you say now.
I laid everything out on the bed
before I took my shower…
underwear pants, shirt, jeans jacket
black denim pants, and black and white
stripy shirt.
When I finished scrubbing, rinsing,
towel drying my hair until it curled,
I thought…
How do I turn off the shower.

Come over here my beloved …
let’s snuggle up together on the old porch swing
to enjoy the glory of the setting sun
whilst listening to wild birds trilling
their sweetest songs
We sit together in complete silence
observing the pretty butterflies
flitting from flower to flower
fluttering their colorful bejeweled wings.
Stripy bumble bees buzz busily
collecting pollen from golden honeysuckle
which climbs over the rickety wicker trellis.
Your fingers seductively brush my thigh,
you give me your ‘knowing smile’
I see the look of love in your blue eyes -
then your lips meet mine.
Enough of seeing the birds plus the bees
you whisper -
it’s time for us to go to bed!

Rain - A Didactic Cinquain
Rain
Misty, sweet
Pelting, dewing, precipitating
Ever so warmish
Rainwater
Spring rain
Droplets wet, refreshing
Delighting, happening, crying
It was a surprise to us all
Cloud
Cloudy rain
Wonderful, stripy
Jumping, swimming, rolling
Such feelings of happiness

Mr Cat
Mr Cat is such a chap, he's a big lad, a big stripy tom.
Green eyes, a proper tabby, well built, solid, muscular,
handsome, quite a lad with the lassies.
He sits upright on top of the stone pillars at the end of the drive
like a statue, silent, like a proud lion.
Then he's gone on one of his missions, away for hours, what does he
see ? what does he do ? Hunting ? Playing ? Chasing ? Or is there
something more mysterious ?
Sometimes he comes back wounded, then I know he's been fighting.
It's not good to see him hurt, beaten up, bits of flesh missing, bleeding
and scuffed up. Then he is kept indoors for a few days.
He's all male, man cub, he likes his food, he would eat until he was sick
if you would let him. Then he sleeps all afternoon on the sofa.

HUNGRY TIGER and FRIEND.
Easy Tiger slow down a bit,
your running at great speed.
Tiger, Tiger slow down please
is there really any need?
If I slowed down a bit,
it could be the end of me.
So without much haste
no time to waste
I'm hunting for my tea.
Who says you have to run
with me at great speed?
For what I catch is mine alone
yes mine alone indeed.
Tiger, Tiger what if you miss in the end?
Oh! No need to worry if I miss
I can always eat my friend!
I was afraid of that with this stripy cat
I don't think I'll hang about
for if he fails to catch his prey
then he'll eat me no doubt.
I'm off!

Beautiful stripy bees are busily buzzing,
they drift down in waves from the sky.
Gently they sip nectar and spread pollen from the flowers,
then off to their hives they will fly
Their antenna guide them home,
as they drift on a warm zephyr breeze.
It’s a good job they don’t suffer from hay fever
or the poor bees would constantly sneeze!

I’m walking my tiger home!
So what!
Wow!
That’s the strangest thing,
I’ve ever heard!
You just might say!
Well! Mary had a little lamb,
And you had no problem with that!
She even took it to school one day,
That made the children laugh and play,
History! Made that nursery rhyme,
I could do that!
I’ve got a big cat!
Mary had a harmless lamb,
Mines a stripy tiger,
Hers was cute and white as snow,
Mine is hungry! And I’ve far to go,
Mary’s story was very real,
Mine is just a tiger’s tail,
So off we go upon our way,
That is why!
I’m walking my tiger home today.

Stipulations of mild stripy animals can be seen even in a misted monument. As money is a molestation and global percentages is often hazardous. Such jeopardy in high ranking offices. Wow. Penalisation of a queue of poor is a sour and act of radicalised clerics whose antics displease the wibble wobbling signature lines of many a balanced sky temple. So skit not a wild free grass skirted cat. For it us the beams of life that will induce freedom formations. When leaping over a hurdle of biscuits take care not to erode timeless meaninglessness chatter as boxes are utilised to contain essences so do not dare to argue with a rolling pin nor discuss dietary requirements with angelical mildew mops. Moving on. Zombified trolley dashing wisdom lacking duped. La la la.and I am laughing haha *** dramatically shimmering chimney stack in a tropical weave. Xxxx mysticism xxxx clip clop

Zebras are stripy I’m sure you can see,
Yaks chewing cud as slow as can be,
X-ray tetra in the aquarium are seen,
Warthogs with curly, white tusks that gleam,
Vertebrates aplenty, some invertebrates too,
Usually are seen at a visit to a zoo.
Tapirs with their long funny noses,
Slithering snakes in glass fronted enclosures,
Roaring tigers with camouflage stripe,
Quizzical otters eat eggs that they like,
Puma black prowls through the bush,
Orange orangutans needing a brush.
Never one to refuse a tasty dish
Macaroni penguins smell of fish,
Lions in the sunlight all day sleeping,
Komodo dragons quietly creeping,
Javan Rhinoceros with skin like armour,
Indian elephants size makes such drama,
Hippos with their mouths open wide,
Galapagos tortoise, oh what a prize!
Fennec fox with really long ears,
Endangered animals that people fear,
Dangerous animals taking a nap,
Caiman and crocodile waiting to snap,
Bold zoo keepers picking up poo,
All able to be seen at a trip to the zoo.

Beneath a bearded tree I sat
Expecting on a gaze,
When interview a headless hat
Came whiffling through the haze.
For laffs he wore a slight of grin,
And luck a charmless arm.
Four feathers grew upon his chin.
His steptwin was a farm.
Good Rooter with his tranquilize
Spread fat across the land.
To bleat the water from his cries
And polish up his hand.
‘Beware the Moo!’ A Cow called out,
His udders clothed in drag.
‘Beware its hook and pout-ful shout.
Its Moo-beams in a bag!’
Beneath a bearded tree I sat
Re-musing on the dayz.
When interview a stripy cat
Came whiffling through the haze.
