Born before World War II, grew up in Chuula Visa, I joined the Army right out of High School.  Married Paul Hawkins, pregnant, and moved to Hollywood, then back to Chula Vista to work as ann art director.  Fired, two years of art school, lots of drinking, and a divorce followed.  I moved to the beach wiuth the two kids.  Became an  odd job lady and managedd to pay the bills and party.

I met George, a car guy, in 83, got sober in 84, and went back to college where I got a degree in Painting with graduate work in Architectural History.  We are both wearing out while enjoying life now.  I keep a blog, (http://urban-archology.blogspot.com/), I write articles on whatever fascinates me, (right now food history, before that Nazi History), and I travel with a camera in my hand.

Thank you all for reading my work.
