A Tribute
to Our Great Friend
Sister Jeanne Stephens
Written: by Miracle Man
October 29, 2019

In your deteriorating years your intellect is undeterred,
You’re a veritable lady in every sense of the word.

Your concern for others is a message that you send,
It leaves us feeling blessed having you for a friend.

You’re an assertive lady who requires no defense,
Making our friendship special with no need for pretense.

God occasioned our paths to intertwine one day,
Now we remember each other when we kneel to pray.

Some perhaps might think that in your ways you’re set,
But with you sister Jeanne, what we see is what we get.

“Candor is a compliment; it implies equality.
It’s how true friends talk”

Organic and Non Organic Foods

Organic and Non-Organic Foods
By: Ramona Stephens
Organic Food is the very best to eat.
Take care of your organs and your teeth.
No Fertilizers, No Pesticides.
Just White Rice with Fresh Vegetables on the side.
Do not inject Tomatoes, Apples, Bananas or Mangoes.
Grow what you eat, eat what you grow.
Naturally grown Fruits and Vegetables is the way to go.

Synthetic Fertilizers may hurt your tummy.
If Non-Organic was good bees would use it in honey.
Take care of your body and watch what you eat.
Organic Foods is nutritious for long standings on your feet.
So once again grow what you eat and eat what you grow
Naturally grown vegetables is the way to go.

In Flight

Colossal raced the churning waves

Neighing loudly, tossed mane

dripping

Enticing Desire to frolic

Their matched white coats mottled

Sea sprayed

The High Priestess

Mystical One.

All seeing Seer.

Accept this gift of fruit.

To kneel at your temple.

Filled with indescribable love,

as your High Priestess to command.

Visions flash before me.

I obey your command.

The Lighthouse

Hails upon stormier tempestuous

sea surges, ascending, mountainous

waves crashing, splattering, appallingly

Strikes against lighthouse's sentinelling

Beam glowing, rebuffing, unremitting

High tidal's signature magnificence

To prevent maritime catastrophes

Whence before radar-scope inventiveness

The Gift of Prayer

Dear Lord,
I know the end is soon to come
My frightened heart beats like a drum

Past events in visual recall
In rapid succession I appraise them all

WAS this my life after three score and ten
The avariciousness of a thieves den

WAS this my life ignorant still
Low in Spirit and weak in will

WAS this my life a degenerate mess
Rejecting assistance with such casualness

WAS this my life filled with wanton delight
Nonsensical whimsies without any respite

Dear Lord, I want to cancel it out
Forgive me my sins in alarm I shout

Lost Sheep, YOU are my chosen one
Throughout YOUR meanderings a light has shone

YOU have faltered oft I know
But throughout each betrayal I have loved you so

YOUR cries for help have not been in vain
YOUR triumphs my loss, each confession my gain

YOUR deeds good and bad are in your eyes
So few of mankind do apologise

Love is YOUR gift on your sleeping face
Peaceful at last in my constant embrace

A Quickie

In green/blue shimmering shades

Alien squarbs have been sighted

From southern tip to northern shores

Prismatic globules lighted

Collectively in the Azores

Whispers of Love

I thought I heard you utter my name
So gentle a whispered refrain
Near to my ear this early dawn
Now fully awakened by my alarm

Remember....

Rain drenched, we made tree shelter as it poured
Gently you stroked my hair from my eyes
Whispering words of love I adored
Many happy years have passed, how time flies

Remember.....

So close, even our breathing was in sync
When your protective arm encircled me
Whispering words of love our fingers interlinked
Our love transparent for all to see

Remember......

Our honeymoon spent at Niagra Falls
Sipping champagne cocktails, I whispered your name
Not much sightseeing as I recall
Do you remember it as the same

Remember.......

My darling boy there cannot be any other
Only you in my heart as a flickering flame
I lie beside you on your hospital cover
Whisper, if you can dear, my Christian name.

Victims Rainbow

red was the color you wore
when you walked into my room
and the color flowing thru my angry heart
with thanks to you has quickly turned dark
love has many beautiful colors
I am unfortunaely stuck with only two
I will never leave you, is what I was told
but where are you now, I would really like to know
enjoying all the colors of the reainbow
now with some other poor unwitting soul
what color will you leave her with
certainly not a rainbow
what color will you see
when she turns YOU into
her next unwitting victim

Dedicated to my dear friend
