Pitter patters foisted wetness on the roofs,
A cat meows noisily to the rain spoofs,
her sweet noise rhythmed the dog's delicious woofs,
The treasure they sang into ears is the proof,
They both hopped like a radiant horse on hoof.
Mice run around to show they enjoyed their shows,
one, bold enough, even danced on my toes.
Their song was enriched by some noisy frogs' croaks,
that pierced the beats proving it not a hoax.
Some cocks occasionally chorused with crows.
Raindrops beat drums to make the ears more pleasing,
Thunders deafened the flow with their fast sneezing.
That made me to hum sweetness to their nice sound,
Now on my feet, my joy danced round and round,
Just then, the mice joined with their sweet soft wheezing,
Suddenly, the sky then stopped its pretty cries,
Maybe, the song that stopped the rain was by spies.
Sadness chased happiness far into the dark,
All was silent except the dog's angry barks,
Not even the stars could twinkle in the skies.

Irrelevant spoofs but now he refuels and will refuse /

Donkey in the farm, strong hoofs romping
Wonky when you charm, long spoofs hooting
Donkey standing as you stare, shy when you dare
Teeth grinning as you glare, dry when you blare
Sweet and gentle that sire, donkey of your eye
Lifeguard under fire, wise and clean with your lye

~POINT THE FINGER AT YOUR CHEST~
What have you done lately,
For your community?
Have you gone out and helped the poor?
Or are you, just a selfish, vain boor?
You want a change in your nation?
It's up to you to make a difference, not be
simply, "a mouth sensation!"
We should rally great citizen troops.
I am tried of blaming political nincompoops.
Don't worry, I do write poems about leaders, many!
But who responds to political spoofs?
Very, rare courageous few, if any.
We all, our arses we want cowardly covered.
So political poets, like me, get on a hit
list and are smothered!
But I don't care, but don't you see?
When you smother me, you smother thee?
So phenomenal is this inane drive to be popular here.
All poetical love, like useless junk in a car, slammed into
the rear!

There is a rumbling on the rafters,
a subtle pounding drum beat on the roof,
flashing in the skies, harlequin spoofs
a light show awesome and frightening ever afters,
the summer storms drift in then race
slow and steady in their pace
ready for the earth to be displaced.

Come, feel my pain and cry with me;
witness my loss to wind and sea.
Maria washed away my dreams;
Her wails mocking the children's screams.
Puerto Rico struggled to cope
as a surge of water drowned hope.
To lose all, even who you are;
outweighs the loss of house or car.
Collapsed homes with no walls or roofs;
get pimped by the news, out for spoofs.
And people learn they're all alone;
as Trump's heart quickly turns to stone.
Food and water are things I trust;
pray to God if you feel you must.
My life was destroyed on that day;
watching all I owned float away.
No lights on in the streets and bars;
night was given back to the stars.
And as in a hypnotic trance;
Fear joined Death in a ghoulish dance.

Experienced easy and hard times
During the days and nights as millons upon billions of stars shined
Way out in
The mountains
Inspiration was founded
While the sky was clouded
I finally understood the truth
When I was no longer a youth
I always respected my own and others roots
While I was in pursuit
Of things of use
Despite all the spoofs
I went above the roof
When advice from an elder was offered and given
I paid attention and listened
Because I always respected their wisdom
And wanted to help the ecosystem
Despite the amounts of schisms
My spirits had risen
And I continued on with the mission
The accumulation of water helped it pool up
It was clearly obvious that so many fools bluff
As far too many continued to ridicule stuff
I focused on being a better person, while trying to do and improve much
So I could learn and gain experience, and make sure the decisions I choose were just
Even though, sometimes when you lose its tough

A wooden porch looks old like Grammy’s chair
That rocks us of fables, miming her voice;
While a neighbor spoofs wolf legends, beware!
Under the moonlight dim, sweet hours rejoice.
How evening’s ray now settles on the ground
While urban traffic booms, only to impose
On our chalet shading youth’s prints around;
A moment when life blossomed like a rose.

Over the years I’ve seen more than my fair
share of movies
aimed at the Black audience.
I’ve seen the spoofs, the comedies,
the thrillers, the musicals, the mysteries,
the horrors, the dramas.
I got Under The Cherry Moon.
I glimpsed The Hollywood Shuffle.
I viewed Harlem Nights.
I felt Purple Rain.
I inspected Boyz N The Hood.
I was there, man. I sat high
up in balconies like my grandfather
did without preference.
He perceived Four Shall Die.
He witnessed The Broken Earth.
He knew Life Goes On.
He observed The Flaming Crisis.
He gaged A Man’s Duty.
There, up there, back then, even now, we watch
the big picture
aimed at us for entertainment, as we
live this life without a script.

On precept Palin
Concepts are wailing
Concepts spoofs
Love is truth
Corporate failing
Amidst the wailing
Her ship keeps sailing
Precept’s truths
She’s no goof
Beliefs are sailing
Her precept is right
May need to try it
Now maybe
Sweet Baby
She abodes in light!!
At least she confesses tunnel’s light!!

Doc Holliday truly amazing
Sick to death and two six guns blazing
Though his blasting appeared not to be phasing
The calmness of his gelding equine’s grazing
This be the glory, how the west was won
By house of ill repute, and the six gun
Plenty of action, was never boring
Funeral parlors, were businesses soaring
Stank of many bodies in pine boxes
All human life was generalized poxy
In the west, principle way of the law
Generally how fast every man could draw
These early days were quite chaotic
Wyatt Earp’s moves were a bit methodic
The saloons were filled with poker tables
And many big bosoms of dance hall mabels
Indians drank of white man’s fire waters
Sheep herders were known as only free squatters
The winning of the west, was quite a quest
Reservations put Indians to the test
America has it’s many stories
How our west was won by many glories
So greatly was the west romanticized
We wonder how much was only lies
Well documentation of westward truths
Or documentation of many human spoofs
Maybe fraudulent claims, as was the hog leg’s aim
We accept no blame, but we’ll take the fame
