When ones children face their final breath
And precious days are borrowed now
The reason for their untimely death
Remains perplexed on sorrowed brow
What is the price of what was treasured
And how will parents journey on
Their anguish can never be measured
When all their hopes and dreams are gone
So say a prayer for all those that's died
And give comfort for what was lost
Remembering all the tears they cried
For paying the ultimate cost

"I carry your heart with me
(I carry it in my heart)
I am never without it.” - E. E. Cummings
A growing sense of expectation built;
The rabbit died, and we were on our way:
A room prepared, a sweet commissioned quilt,
A heartbeat on the ultrasound that day.
Time passed, then came the devastating news;
The drum of joy gone quiet on the field.
The loss, so palpable, did much confuse;
Completely caught off-guard, our senses reeled.
How could the little life I'd never seen
Evoke such sorrowed grief as I now felt?
A hole both in our hearts and on that screen,
An unexpected blow, like none ere dealt.
Two daughters since, both precious girls to me,
If she had gone full term, one might not be.

~
falling beneath dark skies
no sunlight finds my face
lost within bramble and prickly thorn
tearing at my heart, shredding tiny pieces
what little remains that I can feel
broken branches splinter
wilted blooms release no scent
diluted hydrangea tear drops
weeping of loss, never ending
transparent silhouette faintly flutters
a butterfly fades into the shadows
disappearing from this place
where your smile once bloomed
as I cry with the sorrowed flowers…

~
Posy petal’d tear drops
on saffron colored morns
fall deeply in sorrowed shadows
where sunshine is merely a reflection
of the beauty once shared
Clouded days sing dreary sonnets
and the sunflowers are sad,
for those cherished wings
of brilliant colors
are gone from this field
Now a misty shade of gray
lingering in the thoughts
of one so missed…
finds the garden gates locked,
never to open again
Where rainbows once painted blue hydrangea skies
and daffodil promises carried our smiles,
heartache now gathers in shapeless corners,
missing this butterfly
all had so come to adore
and the earth weeps…

When you feel sorry for yourself
How can I lend a hand?
For isn't it your choice
That alone you choose to stand?
When you choose to isolate
Yourself from those you love
Is it not yourself you choose to hate
Declining the help from above?
When you choose to walk alone
A road of sorrowed soul
For whom did Jesus then atone?
What was His highest goal?

the sun is only my shade
the darkness is only my light
the day is my night
because my eyes doesnt see what they should
cause life will always be misunderstood
opposite
thats the reality living in the hood

Another sorrowed word goes out to
the misunderstood and the confused.
Because of the truth untold you are
being misled an sadly accused.
Show your face in the ugly crowd
and never be ashamed to scream you
god out loud.
Only one dream to show a scar you
will always bear.
Only one image to remind you to
always be aware
You love holding the world in the
palm of you8r hand
having a perfect life worked out
just the way you planed
Now you can have this an so much
more
Only when you break the web of society
and open a new door.
Is reality really fantasy or is fantasy
really the reality we are searching for
So many questions go unanswered an so
many doors go unlocked
another sorrowed word goes out for
the people that forgot!
