He can't wait to move out
since he's grown up- but the problem is
that he has no car and has no job,
he's wise enough to understand
that he cannot live as a freeloader
be forever dependent on his parents
he's a grown man not a little boy
problem is he has no car and has no job,
he must obtain these things himself
the question remains: "how?"
his days are restless and his nights are sleepless
itchy with impatience, where the balm to soothe?
He can't wait to move out and live a life of his own
problem is that he has no car and has no job,
opportunity rarely comes his way
eventually his decision is to sneak out the door
with his backpack filled with essential items.
He left the nest in the early morning hours...

When we where younger we all wanted that invisibility cloak, talking about how many pranks we would do or how we would sneak out
I was born with it sewn into my skin
I’ve tried cutting it, dyeing it but nothing seems to affect the effect

Sugar, my sweet, you’ve slipped away,
Into the light of a softer day.
My heart aches deep, it’s hard to bear,
This quiet house, this empty air.
You were my shadow, soft and warm,
A snuggle-seeking, loving form.
With wagging tail and gentle eyes,
You filled my world with sweet surprise.
Escape artist with a wild soul,
You chased the wind, you played the role
Of fearless friend on grand crusades,
Through tangled woods and open glades.
But now those paws have come to rest,
And though I know it’s for the best,
I wish for just one moment more—
One happy bark, one leap, one door
You'd sneak out through with that sly grin,
Your little games, your spirit’s spin.
I miss your warmth beside my bed,
The nuzzle of your sleepy head.
The silence now is sharp and wide,
Without my Sugar by my side.
But love like yours does not just part,
It lingers in the quiet heart.
Forever mine, you’ll always be—
A friend, a joy, a piece of me.

Today I’m grateful for a be filled with beautiful memories…
Memories I’m always happy to revisit for a little while…
Memories that sneak out of my eyes
run down my cheeks
and find their way into smile.

Another poster of a child holding her lost pet.
When I see them, man, the sinking feeling that I get.
Why can't pets just learn to stay at home?
Why are they always dying to go on the roam?
I haven't seen or heard of one happy ending yet.
This is not why we did love you ~
and learned to think the whole world of you ~
just so you could sneak out the back door ~
never to be seen anymore ~
except in visions ~ with a coyote glowering down from above you.

three faeries with beautifully veined transparent wings arrived at midnight
Not unlike Pan who had been there before, they brought happiness light.
Their mission was to add some levity and joy to the current night life
I sneaked up on them in silence, feeling more voyeur than young wife.
Silent in the deep weeds, I watched the three faeries frolic and play in fun.
If I made a loud song, they would be gone way before the returning sun.
At three a.m. I sneezed, and the entire faerie brigade stood perfectly still.
“Come on out!” one demanded, staring at the neighboring hill.
Out came a dragon, a buzzard, two raccoons, a squirrel, a frog and a fish.
The fish was in a bowl, being carried by the raccoons, as if a delicate dish.
We will teach you some dance moves, the faerie queen said, “okay?”
More was going on, but a the sandman in a dream whisked me away.
I know what I saw, I am not wrong about that.
I still see these three faeries, at the drop of a hat.
Sometimes I sneak out at midnight to try to glimpse them again.
So far, I have come up empty, but some day, it will be a win.

I could have danced all night!
We would have been a sight!
Rocking in the rocking chair room.
Across the room,
Almost out the door,
Keep on rocking,
There's always more!
As we sat in the rocking chair room.
No one knows the fun it is,
To sneak out at noon,
And spend an hour in the rocking chair room.
The women that watch us are out of sight,
Gone to lunch for a bite.
No one is near us,
In the rocking chair room.
Now we are sedately settling down.
The women who watch us,
Are all back from town.

Wake up in the middle of the night
sneak out and come talk to me
I need to hear your voice speaking gently
I need to see the shine in your eyes
when you look at me
I need to feel the warmth in your heart
cause you're with me.
Long night holds no comfort to the distance we face
but as long as love hold no bonds
we can weather whatever it takes
Know that this love is real
We don't have time for no fakes
And I'll wait for you no matter how long it takes
Wake up are you dreaming of me
dreaming of the things that we will one day see
dreaming of a future that was predestined to be
Wake up my love and can come talk to me

We are the Fonzie cats, we are slick and cool.
We sneak food from restaurants, we sneak out of school.
We are all of that, the dog’s bowwow and the cat’s meow.
When you hear a ruckus, we are on the prowl!
We are Fonzie Cats, don’t wear out our name.
You can give us respect; the alley is fair game.
We sneak around at night, we are out of sight.
We are the Fonzie Cats, and we know where it’s at!

Dear Mr Santa, I’ve been really good
I’ve done all the chores, I was told that I should
I know that it’s June and I shouldn’t be surly
I must send a gift and I must send it early
So if you could handle this order for me
Delivered discreetly like it’s meant to be
Just sneak in and leave it where I will suggest
And sneak out again, because that would be best
My gift is a gift for the whole of mankind
So sneak the gift in and then leave it ‘behind’
To do me this favour, you’ll need an address
You’ll know where it is as it’s been in the press
***
The address that I’ve given, you must be rememberin
you’ll find it in Moscow, they call it the Kremlin
But you’re Santa Claus so you won’t need a pass
So just leave the Semtex in Putin’s fat ass

The feelings,
They hold the forte,
The feelings,
They come out of the chambers,
The feelings,
They're like a tempestuous sea,
He fights to put them under,
They sneak out and trouble him sore,
He wrestles to lock them up,
They break loose and perplex him,
Phantom beings reside in him,
Two sides in one,
Strange thoughts contest to take the wheels,
They shapeshift and metamorphose,
He seeks a way out of the jungle,
He steers his ship to come to land,
The mystery behind walls,
The human curse.

Beware of what starts with a hiss and a roar,
As it is sure to soon sport, a broken oar,
With sellotape being sent for,
To cover up what is an obvious flaw.
Yes beware what starts with a hiss and a roar,
As something could be rotten to the core,
With those afraid of being shown the door,
Looking to cover up that flaw.
Beware of what starts with a hiss and a roar,
As it is you and me who will have to pay the more,
When the cover up is no more,
If those who knew about the flaw,
But kept going using an oar,
That should never have left the store,
Manage to sneak out the door.

Have American pride, don’t grovel
in the earth.
Wave the flag, honor your God,
Do not sneak out of work.
Free money from workers, while you
sit on the sunny sod??
Do fight for all your rights, though
many are erasing them with mirth.
Americans died on foreign lands and
lie dead under seas, to liberate millions
of others.
Cemeteries, foreign and domestic, hold
their respected bodies beneath God’s earth.
Be glad as you can be, to be an American!!
Why else do you think others come here?
They, too want....citizenship and a better life,
if they are willing to work, they can.

Wake up! You awake to cliffside turn-tables--mountains crumble into the divots of the record; mountain goats float upon ethereal notes. They bleat in conjunction with dusty LPs. Soon enough, cities rise from the mountain passes, urban ghettos spring up like wildflowers. Graffiti artists sneak out to complete works. The absence of pastels, traditional paint, and chalk is too much to contend with. They must use others. All tear open their chests and remove their ribs. They use marrow and blood to make art. The artists walk about countrysides. An afternoon of binge drinking and screwing whores. They brag about their achievements as they approach a gaggle of street poets. An altercation soon occurs, creativity flows. Architectural dreamscapes pop up from nowhere...
