Trying to Sneak out a Witchs Door

jack-o-lantern stack of four
tried to sneak out witch’s door
she caught them and reeled them right back in
they were now guarded by her silly twin

we can outfox her, the leader of the stack said
they pretended to snore, got into her pithy head
she was soon asleep, not watching them at all
we can do it now! said the littlest one, his name was Small

They began to sneak and approached the door
It opened up and there was the witch LaMore
I knew I’d have to do the job myself, she said.
The pumpkins stayed there, hearts felt like lead.
