Late and night
as the moonlight
casts a spell on me
I sneak out of the room
to write a poem for thee

Pumping up perky paces
Prospective previews streak into wishing well
Trimming down tranquil traces
Nostalgic tears sneak out of eye socket parallel

A giraffe, an Okapi and a blue wildebeest
Walked into a bar hoping to have an horde ‘ore feast
A bongo, an Asian water buffalo came in too.
I’ve decided to sneak out. How about you?

Today I’m grateful for a be filled with beautiful memories…
Memories I’m always happy to revisit for a little while…
Memories that sneak out of my eyes
run down my cheeks
and find their way into smile.

When we where younger we all wanted that invisibility cloak, talking about how many pranks we would do or how we would sneak out
I was born with it sewn into my skin
I’ve tried cutting it, dyeing it but nothing seems to affect the effect

The sky can’t decide
If it’s blue or it’s gray.
The clouds, filled with rain,
Aren’t going away.
The sun, mostly hidden,
Entices the birds,
While raindrops sneak out,
Dripping onto my words.
This morning I walked,
Getting thoroughly drenched
But beneath this strange sky, now,
I’m gladly entrenched.

Little brown mouse you came into my house but you weren't invited inside
Then at night you sneak out to go scouting about and by day in my attic you hide
Now that bodily waste that you drop every place, is something I just can't abide
So I'm sorry to say but a trap I must lay, for a mouse in my house cannot stay

Sneak out the frontdoor
Daylight
Walk down the pavement
Barefoot
Skate down the hill on the street
Other way
Get a friends car
unknowingly
Drive to the cinema
-16
Follow the crowd
No ticket
Throw popcorn at the screen
"OUT!"
Wrestle with the bouncer
claws
Found in jail: "Mom um yeah... i know you grounded me and all-"

I believe we had more fun,
When I used to sit and wait.
For you to sneak out again,
For a nightly moonlit date.
Those were the good old days,
That my heart happily longs for.
The summer days at the ocean,
Slowly kissing by the shore.
Now that we’re fully grown,
You still give my eye a twinkle.
Marriage is good but can’t compare,
To the preludes of love and wrinkles.

words lay eggs on paper.
in time,
they break their prison shells,
crawl out,
eat and fatten
but may sneak out like hermits
meditate
in the hard crusts
of silence
at the end of Metamorphosis,
they flit round
like butterflies
moving in crisscross patterns
before our
perceptive eyes!

We are the Fonzie cats, we are slick and cool.
We sneak food from restaurants, we sneak out of school.
We are all of that, the dog’s bowwow and the cat’s meow.
When you hear a ruckus, we are on the prowl!
We are Fonzie Cats, don’t wear out our name.
You can give us respect; the alley is fair game.
We sneak around at night, we are out of sight.
We are the Fonzie Cats, and we know where it’s at!

My cats have decided on this blustery cold morn,
To hide under the covers and stay oh so warm.
The wind keeps howling, making them shake,
While under the covers cozy it does make.
Moving may not be an option for me
For as I stretch the closer they be.
I tried to sneak out real quiet you see,
Buy they caught on quick and reprimanded me.
We all know who rules this house
And today we're not moving even for a mouse.

She thought that he loved her
She thought they were fine
Didn’t know they were broken
Didn’t know she was blind
She believed in forever
She believed all his lies
Didn’t know what would sever
Didn’t know he was mine
He made promises that he knew
He’d never keep
Used to sneak out at midnight
Knowing she was asleep
Now he’s sitting in ruins
Since he’s lost all his worth
I despised keeping secrets
And he had lost me first

Whatever happened
to the man I knew?
And why do you treat
me the way you do?
You spin silken lies
that defy belief.
And sneak out at night
like a common thief.
Perched upon my trust,
you act like a dove.
Yet, wooing trouble,
you betray my love.
When trust disappears,
love fades till it dies.
And depression feeds
upon its demise.
You have taken my
happiness away.
And equated love;
to a game fools play.

Many times you left me out to dry dangling from a string.
I can't comprehend why you don't control your urge.
I know every night at midnight you sneak out and splurge.
Before that smokey pipe you were so full of youth.
Now your eyes are grey and bleak, cutting into the cold hard truth.
What's left of you now is hopeless and dim.
Daddy, will you ever find your peace with Him.
It's so baffling when you smoke your crack.
Each time you leave I wonder if your coming back.

I do not know?
Another poster of a child holding her lost pet.
When I see them, man, the sinking feeling that I get.
Why can't pets just learn to stay at home?
Why are they always dying to go on the roam?
I haven't seen or heard of one happy ending yet.
This is not why we did love you ~
and learned to think the whole world of you ~
just so you could sneak out the back door ~
never to be seen anymore ~
except in visions ~ with a coyote glowering down from above you.
