Siesta Key Florida is a favorite endeavor.
where we have taken our family vacations forever
It is inexpensive and fun; we used to go there in inclement weather.
Pure white quartz beaches are never hot on your feet.
Water activities and family-friendly concessions are sweet.
Playground there for children cannot be beat.

gulls lift on currents 

sandpipers feed along

Waltz weary way


Drooping day drifts

Slipping sway swift

Freeze-frame flip flow

Move with the times as tact frames act,
Yes to the maze where thrills fund plate.
Seize each fine rhyme as wonder facts,
Live sensuous craze as lines spring late;
Exult grand sleep where dreams prevail,
Enter the hall where echoes stretch;
Prize in rest deep where joy avails,
Yes to the call to craft due match.
See beyond sight a world put

Droop of eyelids
Tipsy blur swirls
Sleepy form bids


Plunge into twirls
Plain arch and curl
Snore in loud swirls


In a fast zip
Body feels numb
Crash easy trip  


Sleep floats sense dumb
In breathing prance
As motor numbs


Face slouching falls
Breeze into trance
Watch slumber call


Hear strange deep trance
Journey and all
Sleep grabs fond chance


Siesta now swings
As dreams unfurl
Old strains that fling

Drowsy frame stays
Drifting away
To dreamy play


Time lost to sleep
Falling so deep
Sense dreams that peep


In dangling twirls
Surreal this world
In blurry swirls


Zooming so fast
A moving cast
Siesta now lasts


Round and round now
Fractures somehow
Odd dreams endow


Waxy eyes sight
A renewed light
Upon mid flight


To wake again
To a time train
Vivid yet plain

Mind what you find in sleepy notes,
Yes fit the heart with easy rest.
Style sleep signs in drifting vote,
Lie down to start fond siesta quest;
Explore a sway beyond logic,
Embrace that plunge into nothing;
Ply through gateway somewhat mystic,
Yield to strange trance where voices sing;
Sense thoughts allude to inner feel,
Intent can start the flow of strains;
Extract in nude

Mind in a blur as cool breeze curls,
Yonder bright sun flings a sharp glare.
Sleepy moods stir in heavy swirls,
In time the ring of snores not cares;
Etch of limp form with siesta deep,
Sound sleep echoes fond slumber best;
Touch dreamy norms that comfort reaps,
Attest and show a welcome quest.
Face fondles smile in a sweet sway,
