Crab Froth

      Smashed crab, in corn soup.
       Just grab with tiny pieces
        of green chili soaked
         in vinegar to taste best.
         Relish slowly: Make no haste.

Late for dinner

Sticky Winter Limerick
She dressed in a snow suit of red and blue
Snow drifts surround her…oh what can she do
A snow man offered choc chips
Kissed her snow covered hot lips
Their snow lips adhered…hope love will ensue

His Reverie
At the moon, he raised a howl

A long, and plaintive cry.

What cause he, to lift his head

And serenade the sky.

That I could look into his soul

To see the world as he,

Dwell in his mind for a while

To know his reverie.

Premium Member Cardinal In Spring
A cardinal whips its trilled zest
Where fields extend into a mile;
That upon bright April's request
My toes wiggle here for a while...
I pause as sunrise paints hued light
By rolling through ridges, how free!
Till more birds arrive come near night
When dreamy hours grant spring's marquee.

A Yodelin' Feller
Had an old Cadillac and a gal named Ann
And I played fiddle in a travelin' band
I loved my Ann and a dog named Yeller
They ran off with a yodelin' feller

I woke up this mornin' on a choo choo train
Bound for Amarillo in the pourin' rain
Starin' out the window started me thinkin'
It's gonna be this way 'til I quit drinkin'

Not seeing you everyday makes me so sad,
Me and your mom tried we just didn't work out,
I'll always be here you'll never have to shout,
Everyday I miss you so much,
So glad I brought you phones to keep in touch,
I love you so much girls with all my heart,
Im still trying get used to the four days apart,
I don't need a magic lamp or three wishes,
I've got my girls, everyday catch my kisses.

Premium Member Coherent Thoughts
Truth could not be eclipsed,
And you said it was a joke.

There was a mystical feeling,
Behind your saying that you
didn't care.

I could feel obscure pain
beneath,
And you said it was alright .

A desire was shrouded,
Once you said I should leave
you alone.

An Imperceivable feeling was
sensed,
And you said you didn't know.

I could feel you in disguise,
There was a silence of deep sea
water.
