Dancing flaming figures of the
wood/Wistful wonderful spirits of
flame/Meditative my own mind you
seem to have understood
soft wishes, tender
air wistful, simmering hope
cadenced tears, falling

an ocean of tears
drowns my brokenhearted soul
floating on despair
the wings of love fly away
my wistful heart seeks solace

what wistful phoenix
sleeps within the blood of leaves-
dreams of Camelot
part the mists of Avalon
new knights of scarlet satin
Moon glow
upon
the night stage
Dreams
hang wistful
on the curtains of
stars.
Shades of dull titanium unwavering
illume~ A Wistful evanescence is she
Her orbs light gifts us freely
Clandestine shadows
Keep oak trees confidence
Wistful clouds keep an eye out
Soothing sounds in the forest
Settling down for the night
Winds bear salt, gull's cries
We gaze on the vast ocean
A near boundless space
Fifty wistful years apart
Vanishing in sparkling eyes
summer wistful waves-
september impressions me
a yellowish blue
NOTE-HI-KU is any English language variation on the Japanese haiku
The final vestige of autumnal reign
Releases its exhausted grip on life ~
A wistful willow quivers as its last leaf falls.
08.01.20
traipsing down moonlight's path
bamboo sway on errant winds
jasmine perfumes the air ~
scent of wistful memories
pensive
whisper softly
sublime divine evening
cloudless summit endless river
wistful

Harmony between all things
only fragile moments bring
Upset the balance, 'twas never there
as wistful breeze to August air
There a she is
viewed to the right
My willow aslant a brook
it is in her eyes
I remember
Still there her wistful glance
Oh my !
I still do love her
I lift the sleeve of time and years
To a little grass hut that brings wistful tears
for fragrant leis and Koa bowls
For rainbows arc-and friendly souls.
the blushing bride of summer sunset
dances daintily with the wistful wind
forgetting sorrow brought by bitter winter
drying tears tossed by those who sinned
Willard was a wily wizened wonderful wizard
Who willingly wrote wildly wonderous tales,
Were Willard’s wild tales wistful?
Wish we knew, Wilbur wailed, wondering.
Through turquoise houses
curtain nets a twitching
Ladies trousers wistful
maybe tomorrow a change
I am the breeze
cool as beaches
promenades are seen for miles
Drifting through the quietly gleaming forest,
Snowflakes falling, silently glinting, melting,
Gracing wings of chickadees chirping gladly...
Wistfully dreaming
flower of morning
diamond dew kissed, musk rose red
grape skies overhead
wistful in the mist
so long yearning for peach sun
green birds sing sudden
doubtful
hopeful
wistful
willful
there lives a doubtful, hopeful darkness
in her wistful, willful mind of gloominess.

I gaze at sun drenched mists
deliriously stunned
by rippling echos of
wistful sand dune swirl grains
where spring flames shed twilight
on love’s quaint misty shore
she is not usually wistful
this is one of those rare exceptions
she is allowing herself one regret
limiting herself to devoting only ten minutes
choosing to dwell on positives
Wistful,
wondering why.
Weeping.
She cried alone,
as she sat
on rugged rock,
ruing she ever loved.
Placed 2
Rare was the vibe
To which we waltzed
And like plastic pillows
We fondled each others features
Petting each others’ egos
In a wistful manner
No texture of skin
Had ever tasted better
