flower of morning
diamond dew kissed, musk rose red
grape skies overhead

wistful in the mist
so long yearning for peach sun
green birds sing sudden

Thanks for the information, Evelyn. I haven't seen most of those birds except in pictures, however, I have seen some hummingbirds who have some iridescent green on them. I think they are the Ruby Throated ones which are beautiful. Sara K

Thank you for the pleasure of your comment, Sara. Green jays can be found in North and South America, green hummingbirds in Arizona, the Tennessee warbler in Tennessee, the violet-green swallow in Colorado, and the painted bunting in South Carolina. :) Evelyn
