The final vestige of autumnal reign
Releases its exhausted grip on life ~ 
A wistful willow quivers as its last leaf falls.

Thank you, John. I admit to it being purely on one level in my own mind though as I wrote it watching the last leaf fell from a willow tree. Great that you saw a deeper level though.

Thank you for the honour, Silent One. I was looking out of the window as the remaining leaf twirled down from the willow tree recently which inspired me to write.
