Ink, in your eyes so many things are beautiful because you prefer to see life that way, despite the negatives. That's a gift... a very sweet one. Thank you for the honor of being on your list.

There's a stand of them next to my daughter's home in Florida. Watching them sway in even a gentle breeze is soothing. Thanks a lot, Jcb.

Lin, sounds like a great place to be. I've been in groves of bamboo and they do make an amazing environment. You stir up many different senses in a few words and have created a very pleasant scene. I only wish I could jump into the picture for a little while and actually be there. What you've done is as good as it gets. Smiles!!

Hi, Duke and thank you for your information. Bamboo makes me think of Japan and finding this picture was exactly what I wanted, thinking it would reflect the mood I was hoping to infer. Watching bamboo sway in a breeze is soothing to me. There's a stand of it in the empty lot next to where my daughter lives in Florida. It does a bit more than sway in a hurricane. Been there and saw that!

A tranquil scene you paint with your words Lin, alone with her thoughts. Tom

Thank you, Tom. That wistful look on her face said exactly what I wanted to portray in my lines.
